Collage
You take some paper, slather it with glue, and whack it on another surface.
Okay, so there's a little more to it than that, especially if you want to create "masterpieces". But the basic idea is the same.
Collage has a sister, decoupage, which is also basically cutting and pasting images onto another surface.
