Paperfacet's List of Lenses on Squidoo
I have been putting off starting this lens. There is enough lenses to put in it so here I go.
Putting the subjects in related modules like I have seen is an idea I like. I will go with that. Also a little extra info about me would be appropriate for a lensography.
My lenses are closely related to what I am interested in now and in the past. The subjects are about my reading experiences and actual hands on experiences. The pictures are the biggest and most important feature of most of my lenses.
I am a life long reader or browser and fan of the National Geographic. Pictures, images and things to look it is something that I am acutely aware of. That is why I like Squidoo. I heart Squidoo and all the people that make it, plus all the tools. It certainly has the stuff for images, graphics and color. It is so user friendly that a novice computer operator can feel comfortable with being a web page creator.
A Basic Overview
I am a shy person. I knew so many people say that, but I am so afraid of being disliked or dismissed. I have no defenses against disapproval and I freeze and suffer and clam up, and am not able to respond when the time calls for it. I feel more sociable on the internet. I definitely feel uncomfortable at big gatherings.I liked to write at an early age. My first memories of writing was to penpals I had from England and Australia. The friend from England I wrote to for about six years. The diaries I kept as a teenager are still packed away somewhere. I love the internet and the squidoo format for writing.
Flashes of anger is one of my weaknesses and depression always has overwhelmed me for way too many hours. What a waste of time, but oh so hard to over come.
People would always remark how red I looked. One person said something is wrong. I went to a skin specialist and he said it was farmer's tan. I did recall that my Dad and uncle had a red tinge. One day a family tree book came to my parents house from my Dads side of the family. My paternal great grandmother, was Irish with the name of Corcoran which means ruddy. Oh well, I just put on plenty of sunscreen.
What is the Method of Paperfacets' Lenses?
I do not stay still.
The I Worked at the Steps of Route 66 is a good example. When I started the lens I did not think to include the San Gabriels, old photos, or comparisons. If my lenses seem to diverge from the subject it is because one thing made me think of another. What is that lens about? Me or Route 66? They are a personal creative process so it is me on Route 66.
I hope I can make you laugh or smile a little too.
The Family Unit
Family has been my central universe.
Yes, household, husband, kids and my growing up family. One sister. That's the main core of my daily activities now that I am retired after 39 years at Pacific Telephone/at&t.
My lenses will tell the rest about me and the worldly things that interest me. I am a bit of a star gazer too. Thanks for reading.
Here is my list of Squidoo works.
