The Franklin, Tennessee-based band Paramore was formed by members: brothers Zac and Josh Farro, Jeremy Davis and Hayley Williams, with the addition of Jason Bynum later on. At the age of 13, Williams moved from her hometown of Meridian, Mississippi to the Nashville suburb, where she met the brothers. The name Paramore had come from a friend of the band's mother's maiden name, and after finding the meaning of the word ("secret lover") the band took up the name. (read more)

- Why do I have to pick just one song? I have several that I love! Only two off of the first album "Pressure" and "Emergency" (yes, I know, the singles of course). But on the second album, my faves are "That's What You Get" and "Crush Crush Crush", and I listen to "When It Rains" a lot when I'm in a sad mood. Of course, I love their songs off of the Twilight Soundtrack, "Decode" (I also like the acoustic, stripped down version of this) and "I Caught Myself".
And... they have their new video for their single "Ignorance" up at Paramore.net already. I can't wait for their new album to come out!
