    Good or bad, i'm absolutely terrified of them. I've had too many ghostly encounters in my lifetime and although I love sharing my stories, I fear that talking about them will make them stronger and they will come back and haunt me and my family again

    I am a firm believer in Ghosts, I am most fascinated with the events when they involve the manipulation of physical mass. Its one thing for a spirit to draw up enough energy to form a whispy mist, but how can they move physical items, even carry luggage in old hotels as an example. Then there are those who communicate verbily, even a few words. Then we have the reports of cigar or cigg smoke, this means that something is physically burning to emit the particles we smell. Finally, while I find it comforting that there is a afterlife, I am somewhat troubled by some of the apparent event loops they are caught up in, usually bad events. My lens has some links to some art work I have done. We are getting closer to clear communication methods, EVP is just the beggining.

    Wow! what a lens! love your stories. I guess while I believe in ghosts, I think only people who have the gift of seeing them, see them. It is a bit disturbing because of the implication they "should" be somewhere else. 5*/ fav/ BLESSED by a SquidAngel.

    Cool lens! I am naturally clairsentient--that is, I can feel spirit energy, though I don't usually see/hear people in spirit. My Dad passed away a few months ago (March 1); but apparently he found his way home from the nursing/rehab center, and I have a handful of digital photos to prove it! But that's okay; he can stick around as long as he likes. He'd been wanting to go home for a long time. I've had a number of other paranormal experiences as well (being clairsentient, it sort of comes with the territory); but haven't had a chance to do serious ghosthunting lately. Has anyone invented a two-way EVP communication device yet? That would be really cool! I'm especially interested in really old/prehistoric site research, including capture of dead languages. Anyway, great work here!

    What a super site to read on Halloween...
    I could really relate to the story of Rose.
    When my son was born C section, I also had a woman at the foot of my bed.
    She was quite beautiful and she was staring at me.
    I knew she was really there ~~ amd moments later she shattered like glass into a million fragments. When I told my OB GYN and the nurses the next day, they emphatically denied that any ghosts were in the maternity ward and said it was "drugs" of the C section !!!

    Hello, I was recently writing something about this subject. In truth there is no such thing as the paranormal or supernatural. Ghosts and things that "go bump in the night" are completely natural.

    I love this. I've always been interested in the paranormal. Humans are arrogant in believing that if they don't know about it, it doesn't exist. What about radio waves?

    Fantastic, so pleased to have found this lens. I love TAPS and all the others but especially in the UK we have Most Haunted - there's a satellite channel which carries the episodes every night. Doesn't matter how many times I've seen them before, I still want to see and hear them again.

    Had many personal experiences ... maybe I'll start a lens about them :-)

    Truly interesting lens! I had a few unexplained experiences as a child that I'm positive were paranormal, but it's still hard to convince my parents that it was not just my imagination. As an adult I've only had one encounter with a spirit and I never actually saw her. It was very intense but not scary at all, -just a presence in the house. It was my mother-in-law visiting my daughter when she was a few weeks old. I don't know how I knew this but I did...

    I'm definitely open to believing in things science hasn't yet proven. I've had some experiences that would make it utter denial for me to feel otherwise!

    I am a believer. Always have been. It just wasn't something we discussed in our house so, I kept it to myself.
    However, today, I am not shy about telling people I have seen spirits, or that I believe in things in the universe that can't be explained away.
    I do plan to check out your forum, as well.

    I've never seen a ghost, and I'm not sure I want to. But I've spoken to a number of people who have. It's usually obvious they've seen or experienced something, and whatever they saw was real to them. Anyway, there's too much we don't know about the universe.

    hi! I lived with a ghost growing up...my mom, sister and I all saw the same figure of a girl wearing a purple dress over the span of ten years and never revealed it to each other til later...
    I have also seen numerous UFOs
