MARSHALL COUNTY, KY - Are we alone in the universe? There are plenty of arguments on that subject, but a local man says he's got proof that we are not alone. He says he was just messing around with an old video camera when he saw something extraordinary in the sky.

The Marshall County man says he shot the video from his front yard over the weekend. "They are unidentified flying objects," he said.

He says he realizes any claims of UFOs will be met with skepticism. That's why he asked us to mask his identity. "Because of my job and neighbors, friends, I don't want to be made a spectacle of."

Nonetheless, he has his own suspicions. "It's just something that appears to be, what do you call it, extra-terrestrial," he said, "that's what it appears to be to me."

But what do the experts think? We asked Rick Shanklin with the National Weather Service if this could be what's known as ball lightning. Pointing to the video, Shanklin said, "This one here that really darts off is certainly atypical of any ball lightning motion that I'm familiar with."

We asked was there any other sort of atmospheric phenomenon, any kind of meteorological phenomenon that could explain what's in the video? Shanklin said he couldn't think of any weather explanation.

One thing we noticed when we went to the area was all the power lines. We asked retired lineman David Carrico if he had ever seen anything like this. Pointing out one of the lights, he said, "That right there I have seen. I've seen lightning hit a pole and follow. We were working on a pole down just one span down and saw that exact thing. Lightning had hit down here, and a ball of fire just followed the line down through."

However, not everything on the tape looked so familiar. Pointing to another part of the footage, he said, "During storms and, you know, lightning and rain and trees all around, I mean, I've seen some crazy things and seen some odd balls of fire, but that one did seem kind of weird."

Weird yes, but proof of extra-terrestrials? Not even the guy holding the camera knows.

"There's something in the videotape that I do not understand," the Marshall County man said. "I don't know what it is, but to just let it not be told would be a waste, to me. Maybe somebody can look at it and say, this is this, or this is that, and then I'll be satisfied, you know,accomplish my goal... is to find out what it is."

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office says they did not receive any reports similar to what this man describes. Local law enforcement officials tell us they do occasionally get calls about UFOs, and they encourage people to report these things to the local authorities. However, unless there is a true emergency, they urge you not to call 9-1-1. What they do suggest is exactly what this gentleman did. Take photos. Take video. That will help them to rule in or out some of the many possibilities.

UFO buffs are studying a film that allegedly was taken by shocked locals on a farm near the town of Alboraya in the Spanish province of Valencia. It is believed to have been filmed fairly recently.
The Video (below) shows alleged aliens burning a field after what appears to be a crop circle session. At least three extraterrestrials are seen in the footage. It is unkown how the alleged aliens got to the felid as no UFO can be seen anywhere.
UFO and paranormal expert Michael Cohen comments 'This smells of a hoax. The alien silhouettes do look like rather typical Axthadans from a distance but that is hardly surprising as notions of Axthadan features have been filtering down to popular culture for years.'
'When will hoaxers realize that footage that ends with a camera pointing pointlessly at the ground while its owner pants for breath don't make things appear more realistic' concluded Cohen.

"I saw this chemtrail forming to the west of Vail, Colorado on March 7, 2008 at 5:23PM. As I zoomed in full with a 70 to 300 lens on my D200 Nikon, there appeared to be no plane in front of the chemtrail - like it was forming out of thin air. After shooting several shots, there was another plane-less chemtrail rising to the west just before sunset. It was spooky. When I downloaded the pictures, there was a halo shape at the front of the chemtrail in some of the images and absolutely nothing visible in others.

The Air Force has had stealth aircraft that are invisible to radar for quite some time. Apparently they now also have aircraft that are invisible to cameras as well. Why would stealth aircraft be flying missions over ski country?

I became chemtrail aware during my investigation into the true story of the 911 attacks. But it did not hit home until November 18, 2007 when I documented the first saturation mission over Vail. That Sunday started mostly sunny. Then one jet flew over high and fast and left a huge expanding plume. It was followed by jets flying from all points of the compass. Inside of three hours, the sky was covered in a gray soup of converging chemtrails. The sun was partially blocked out. Then the planes vanished and not one was seen the rest of the day. After documenting a saturation mission over Crested Butte on December 13, 2007 where the sun was completely blocked out in three hours - there was no doubt left that something sinister was being perpetrated by the Air Force in Colorado.

I've watched jets leaving no contrail at all fly towards a cloud and turn on the chemtrail upon entering the cloud and exit the cloud leaving none. I've photographed jets at similar altitude leaving no visible exhaust trails flying near jets leaving huge chemtrails. The next day after saturation missions, I've seen a return to normal jet traffic and normal vanishing contrails. The denial from people that say this is all normal don't remember what is was like in the west before the late 90s. The deep blue sky without a cloud that lasted three weeks straight on a regular basis during summers never happens now. When I flew across the country last time, I didn't see the ground once from Denver to Boston. The clouds looked weird and fibrous; unnatural. I have images that show clouds of green, purple and rust colors. That simply can't be water or you would see the rainbow colors. After 25 years in Colorado, I have no memory of the chemical colors I now see regularly in clouds. I also have no memory of the strange chemical halos around the sun. I certainly have no memory of planes leaving trails in a grid that block out the sun in three hours. The time lapses I have of this are indisputable evidence to me. Most people I show my evidence to think I have a point that something is terribly wrong with these pictures. Other people roll their eyes and think of me as a paranoid delusionist. I see that as a huge obstacle to stopping this madness. People simply don't want to believe the truth that the government of the United States would do anything to harm them. You can show them the documents released through the freedom of information act about the mind control experiments, the intentional infection of black men with venereal disease, lining up soldiers in front of a nuclear blast wave and they still believe this same government wouldn't pollute the Earth for all time to gain a military advantage. I'm not sure how to reach these people. Preaching to the quire will get us no where. What will convince these people? Perhaps nothing will until they get Morgellons disease."

Ah, summer. The kids are out of school, which means it's time for my young sons to take up favorite vacation pastimes like baseball, bike riding, lemonade stands and duping the world with elaborate hoaxes about UFOs on YouTube.

It was a rainy day, and our three boys were confined inside the house doing what brothers usually do - socking one in the nose and blaming the other for the trouble. I was used to this. A few minutes later, however, came total silence. If ever there was a sign that the boys were up to no good - the kind of no-good that usually results in a call to our homeowner's insurance agent - this was it. I decided to poke around.

In the kitchen I found our 10-year-old with a cheap plastic digital camera and our 4-year-old with a circular LED light purchased from Wal-Mart for $4.88. The younger boy was reflecting the light off the kitchen window while the older boy shot a pixilated video clip. I have to admit: The reflection did look a little like a weird flying saucer, but the narration by my son sealed the deal.

"It's an alien!" he exclaimed in his most dramatic, breathless voice. "Oh my God, look at that!" (The video can be viewed below).

It all seemed so sweet and funny - two would-be Steven Spielbergs, one in pre-school and the other in elementary school, together serving up a Close Encounter of the Fraudulent Kind. Mostly, I was grateful that they were entertaining themselves indoors, without bloodshed, on a rainy summer day.

And then they posted their video on YouTube.

Within an hour, they had their first 100 hits. And then another hundred. And another. Before long, their 18-second clip with the take-notice headline "UFO Over the Rocky Mountains!" was the subject of an intense international debate.

Some viewers pronounced the video as conclusive proof of the existence of extraterrestrials. Others denounced it as a fake, but with impressive and elaborate CGI imagery.

My little 4-year-old and 10-year-old hoaxsters were thrilled. Adults from around the world were paying attention to them! They went to bed that night with dreams of Hollywood in their heads.

When they woke up the next morning, though, they learned a hard lesson about the movie business: Overnight they had been struck by pirates.

Their fake UFO video was so convincing that it was picked up by the Paranormal Network. Shortly after, another UFO site copy-and-pasted the video, and another, and then even a foreign-language site calling itself UFO Video Italia. Somebody else somehow stretched the 18-second clip into a two-minute epic, complete with ultra-slow-motion zooms and dramatic backing vocals that seemed to come from a strange marriage of Jerry Bruckheimer and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Boy, was I mad. All this work by my own two sons and now all the glory, thousands and thousands of precious Internet hits, was being hijacked by some shamelessYouTube pirates. Oh, the nerve!

Surprising thing was, it didn't bother my sons a whole lot. As my 10-year-old said: "Don't worry so much, Dad. It's the Internet. These things happen."

And so here I was, the father of two baby-faced boys who fooled the world with a $99 camera and a $4.88 light from Wal-Mart. And I couldn't help but think that summer vacations have sure changed a lot since I was a kid.

Over the 15+ years I've been investigating unknown upright canids, I've seen too many obviously faked photos and unverifiable blob-dogs to count. There is a new film on the block, however, that is the best and most frightening I've seen so far. It is still in the investigative stages and could still be proven a hoax, but if so it's an extremely sophisticated and well done hoax. It was shown to Steve Cook, Michigan deejay who has popularized Michigan's upright canid known as the Michigan Dogman, several months ago. He obtained the rights to the film which was taken with an old 8 mm camera and was allegedly found in an estate sale in the lower Peninsula. Steve has been busy consulting with film and imaging experts, but has posted it now on his Web site. I was fortunate enough to have had a sneak preview at the stills of the film, and while I thought the stills would probably disprove it, I found them more convincing and scary than the film itself.

The film is grainy, blurry, shows a lot of nondescript landscape and begins with some ordinary shots of a lady chopping a log. It appears that the filmmaker saw the creature while riding in a truck, jumped out of the truck to shoot it, then was surprised by a side ambush and ended up with a view of the creature's fangs and gaping maw -- perhaps after the camera was tossed to the ground in haste as the filmer hustled back into the truck. (I think the mouth shots are the least convincing part of the film.) But the first stills that show the creature clearly indicate a canine-headed animal moving through knee-high undergrowth. It has pointed ears on top of its head and shoulders, which ordinary dogs (or bears or other quadrupeds) do not have. It turns and moves to one side, charging through the brush in a way that would be very difficult for a human to do. At one point it appears there is a long tail. There is sure to be a lot of argument on this, and I commend Steve for taking the trouble to acquire it, bring it forward, and to warn everyone that it is still under investigation. It's always better to err on the side of caution with these things, and it may turn out to be some known creature or even a different unknown creature than the Dogman. (It reminds me of the smaller animal known as the Devil Monkey as well).

London, Jul 9 (ANI): For years, Britain's biggest UFO mystery had been kept under wraps, but now an Air Force official has admitted that an "extra-terrestrial" craft did visit the air base at Rendlesham Forest in 1980.

Former Deputy Base Commander Col Charles Halt claimed that even though the incident was later covered up, "extra-terrestrials" had been the cause of the close encounter in Suffolk.

Halt had led a group of airmen who reported seeing a triangular UFO taking off into the air, leaving traces of radiation behind.

"The UFOs I saw were structured machines moving under intelligent control and operating beyond the realm of anything I have ever seen before or since," the Daily Star quoted Col Halt, now retired, as telling investigator Gary Heseltine.

"I believe the objects that I saw at close quarters were extra-terrestrial in origin," he said.

He added that the Air Force later issued "dis-information" to throw the public off the scent.

His comments were hailed as "sensational" by former Ministry of Defence UFO investigator Nick Pope.

"This may help us to finally solve Britain's biggest UFO mystery," Pope said.

"It blows the MoD's line that these events had 'no defence significance' out of the water," he added."

During the viewing of this footage I have to admit that I was quite shocked at how clear and authentic it looks. However, after repeated viewings I couldnt get past why the best footage was obscured by foliage. Does that spell hoax? Possibly. Also, after a quick search on YouTube AND Google I could not locate the original video only the footage inside the News piece. Again, does that spell hoax? Possibly. What do you think?

Before I turn this over to a much better writer than I'll ever be I would like to express the admiration that I hold for Mr. Keel. The Mothman Prophecies changed my life. After reading that incredible piece of writing I turned a corner in regards to the paranormal. I went from rabid consumer, to avid researcher. The sci-fi like creature surviving below a small village in North Carolina is not the blob like "sewer monster" that fascinated anyone who saw the youtube video.

"It is, instead, a colony of prehistoric creatures called bryozoans - thousands of worms - that eat using a set of brown tentacles, the Charlotte Observer reports.

What if I told you that a cryptozoological legend truly does exist? Not just on this beautiful blue planet of ours, but also on our menacing red neighbor. What if I told you that I had proof of this legend? Would you read on or shrug it off as just another piece of that crazy fortean pie? Whatever you decide, view all photos and images with a grain of salt and an open mind.

The 'face on mars' was my first fortean foray into the mystique of conspiracy. However, I have since remembered that I may have been training for that fateful 'day of the face', as I like to call it, since the early nineties. The 3D Stereogram posters were all the rage with millions of people around the world trying their hardest to see a glimpse at a hidden spaceship or a Jesus face through all those random dots. Never being able to see through the pattern; I quickly gave up on the phenomenon.

Fast forward 10 years and my baby blue eyes were treated by what can ONLY be described as THE face on mars. The picture in question was taken in the 70's, and has been the subject of much debate. Is it a face or just some shadow anomaly? Is it an archaic alien structure? Simply, is it real? For me, I would like to believe that it is real. Christ, we now know that Mars has water, what will we learn, or more interestingly, what will we be told ten years from now. As the years go by and the debates fade away we are only left with the photo. See for yourself and make up your own mind.

Without getting too caught up in the "face debate" I would like to shift today's blog focus to another, much more recent photo taken on Mars. This picture, taken in 2004 by the Mars explorer Spirit, shows that maybe water isn't the only new discovery NASA has made. The photo clearly shows a humanoid figure, maybe running down a martian hill or maybe it's a martian Bigfoot that has just thrown or is fighting another figure. (Look at the dark mass on a rock just below the original figure.) Fascinating. But don't let your imagination run too wild. When viewing the entire full image, this figure is merely 2 inches high. The web site BadAstronomy.com, laughed at the idea, "Puhlllleeeeze. A man? It's a tiny rock only a few inches high. It's only a few feet from the rover!" While this is possible, and probably the right reaction and answer, I cannot wait for the next NASA photo to hit the Internet. Until then I will revel in this photo of a "Mars Bigfoot".

The image in question comes from a motion sensing hunting/trail camera that was originally set up during a Bigfoot Expedition on May 22nd 2009 in the Sierra National Forest, CA. The camera was collected on June 7th 2009 by Jeffrey Gonzalez, founder of The Sanger Paranormal Society and David Raygoza.

The Sanger group in no way offers these images of photographic proof of an actual Sasquatch but rather shares their findings with the rest of the paranormal world and to determine whether or not this evidence should require further investigation of the area.

My initial thoughts on seeing the images are that this is most likely a black bear very common to the Sierra National Forest. It seems to me as though it may be standing on its hind legs, head tilted slightly down. I am no expert in photographic analyzation and I do feel a thorough investigation of the area is required to check for possible tracks and for more photos of the exact same location.

While shopping at Goodwill last week I witnessed quite a peculiar incident. I was checking out the book section when I heard someone cry out in pain. I quickly turned towards the direction of the sound and saw two people swarming to a man on the floor. Slowly, I walked over. As I did this I realized that the man's scream sounded familiar. Almost internal. I drew closer, when suddenly an arm pushed my chest and was told to stay back. I did not listen. I was kneeling beside this man now. I knew him, but I couldn't quite place his face. He was dressed in dirty clothes and hadn't shaved for what must have been months. I thought back to one homeless man that I walked by when I entered the store. But, it wasn't him. The fellow on the floor was much bigger, besides, the man beside me was no stranger. That much I knew.

I looked up and saw paramedics rushing through the store and towards my direction. I stood and then stumbled back. I couldn't take my eyes off of the poor man's face. Someone touched my shoulder. I turned and was immediately asked by an observer what was going on. I said nothing. I started to get winded and then I doubled over. I tried to inhale but I could not. My balance was unstable so I steadied myself against a wall. Slowly I started getting my breath back. I straightened up, opened my eyes and realized that I had wandered over towards the dressing room area. I thought that I must have looked like a mess and found the mirror to fix myself up. I gasped at my reflection. It was me, but something was off. I was older and my clothing had changed. I cupped my hands over my eyes and looked again. The reflection did not change. I felt confused and I wanted to ask someone, anyone what was going on. In my frenzy of rushing about I saw him. He was wearing an oxygen mask now, but I knew it was him. He looked up, smiled and nodded his head. I began to cry.

When I lived in Boston I worked as a vacuum cleaner repairman. The company I worked for was always very busy, resulting in me working many a late night. On one such night I was quietly fixing a vacuum motor when there was a knock at the front door of the store. Since I was working in back it took me a minute or two to answer my visitor. As I approached the sales area, which housed a beautiful bay window, a trash can came crashing through the glass. I immediately shielded my face and then fell back as to avoid the trash can hitting me. As I was lying on the floor a man wearing what looked like a dark business suit walked in through where the window had once been, stepped toward my direction, and then settled over me. He stared at me with very threatening eyes. I told him that the money had already been taken to the bank and that there wasn't a cent in the store. He just looked down at me, almost like he couldn't understand what I was saying to him. Suddenly my eyes felt heavy, then darkness.

Hours later I awoke on the "T". I looked around and noticed that I was in my neighborhood. I rubbed my eyes, but when I pulled my hands away I noticed that there was dry blood all over my fingers. Then it all came rushing back to me. The knock, the broken window, the man in black. "But how did I end up here?" I asked myself. I tried to remember, but I could not. My stop came and I got off the train. Once inside my apartment I was hit with a sharp pain to my temple. I sat down, closed my eyes and I drifted off to sleep. Around 3:30am I was startled awake by the sound of someone knocking on my door. "Who is it?" I asked. "We met earlier?" a familiar voice replied. Scared, I asked, "What do you want with me?" Just then the same man from the store materialized next to me. I jumped back, but he easily grabbed my arm and said, "It's time." Fighting back, I yelled, "Time for what?!? Unhand me!!"

I was dragged out of my apartment. I saw someone across the street and I yelled to them for help. The man holding me looked up and just stared at the person. They quickly turned and walked away. I was shoved into a car where three other men were sitting. We sped off. I kept asking my abductors what they wanted with me, but they wouldn't answer. They just sat and stared blankly ahead. Finally, the car stopped. We were by a field and I was told to get out. I complied, and the car drove away. I was in the middle of nowhere so I decided to start walking back the same way we had come. After about five minutes a coldness came over me. I shivered and pulled my shirt tightly around me. Then a bright blue light lit up the field to my left. It was quite breathtaking and I felt drawn to it. I walked into the field and was almost directly under the formation. I blinked, just then I was engulfed in a white light. I couldn't move. Frightened, I began to pray.

Three days later I woke up to find myself urinating in my clothes. I stopped once I realized what was happening and stood up. I looked around and realized that I was in the neighborhood of where I grew up. That was two states over and 643 miles from my apartment. Having no living family in the area anymore, I found a payphone and called my boss collect. Some six hours later he picked me up and drove me home. I've been seeing a therapist. I'm not sure if anything will come of it, but it's all that I have for now. If any new information surfaces about this, I will contact all of you.
