Do you use Windows XP? I've found parent controls for xp that really give me what I need to keep my kids so safe on the internet. It was easy to load and so easy to use. Why is this so important?
Are any of your kids completely addicted to computer games? My son gets so wrapped up in them he has no idea what else is going on around him. I really wish that he could have the same devotion to his school work but then if there is a computer game around, he won't even look at his school work. I've really had to put my foot down and not allowed any computer games until the homework is completely finished. If it doesn't happen first, there is no chance of the school work getting completed.
Because he and his friends are so addicted to all types of games, they are always searching for new games. And, if you haven't discovered yet, they don't sit around one computer and take turns playing, these games are often played online. Right, my kids are playing games with their friends while they are each at their own homes.

Why Does Playing A Game Require Parental Control Monitoring?
I started thinking about what was going on. It was great to have my son home but how much did I know what he was doing in the very next room? He claimed to be playing with his friends but what happened if his friends had to stop for dinner before he did or had to do homework. What happens if his friends aren't available when he wants to play?Can he find other people to play with? Sure! There are lots of people (by no means all kids) always searching for someone to play these games with. And, I was worried about what types of games he was even playing. I had control when I took him to the store and purchased a game rated appropriately for his age but now, he is choosing his games online and I don't even know which games they are or now, who he is playing with.
The Best Parental Control Software Saves Me Again!
I already was so happy with the parental control monitoring software that I have loaded in my computer to let me monitor who my kids email and what sites they are visiting. Now I found that because it records screen shots, keeps a history of which websites are visited and even captures his passwords and his keystrokes, I could monitor the games that he was playing and who he was playing them with.This is amazing. I don't have to sit and nag him about what game he is playing and who he is playing with, I just have to monitor where he has been and quietly, make sure that he is not using poor judgement in his game partners or game selection.
