Why Parental Control Monitoring On The Internet Is So Critical
My oldest daughter was turning 12 and for her birthday party, she was having five of her closest friends over for a sleep over. They were doing what every 12 year old girl does at a slumber party; manicures and pedicures for each other, playing with their hair and playing with makeup singing and dancing. Basically, they were just having fun.
One of the girls had a cell phone and was making little videos as they were all doing all sorts of goofy things. They all laughed as they rewatched the videos. The problem was that when that girl went home the next day, she uploaded some of the videos onto YouTube and then sent a link to the videos to some of the boys in their class.
It is amazing how a few inocent videos made us realize that parental control monitoring of the internet is going to be in place every minute in our home.

Once The Video Is Sent Out, You Have Lost Control Of It
I never would have thought anything about a little tiny video made from a cell phone before but the emails started. By the time the girls went back to school the following Monday, it seemed that everyone at school knew about the videos. Like I said, they really were innocent but now, just because of one cell phone, there were videos of the girls in their shorty little pajamas seemingly all over town. The videos were actually seen thousands of times by the time we had them removed. Who knows how many people may have downloaded them and what they would even want them for.The wrong picture or video could change someone's life in an instant. Once they reach the internet, you have lost control. How can you make kids understand that without constantly nagging at them.
Time To Find The Best Parental Control Software
This was all the wakeup call that I needed.
It seems that no harm was done but it is a wierd feeling not know how many copies of the videos may exist.This was enough to make me think that there has to be a way to know what my kids are doing on line. I started my search even though I wasn't really sure what I was looking for.
What I found has made me so comfortable. I never imagined that there would be something out there that would allow you to follow your kid's every move on the Internet without them realizing you were watching.
