Cost Effective Interventions
Parenting Tools and Video Courses
Option 1 - Home Intervention Program
There is not much you can do as a Parent until your Teen is properly motivated. No Parenting technique, approach, talk, or change on your part will work until your teen is motivated to listen to and follow your directions. Most Teens don't lack the ability to obey their parents or follow rules, they simply lack the motivation to do so. This program, developed by administrators of schools and programs for troubled teens and adapted for home use, shows you how to motivate your teen to make changes just like they do in these schools and programs.
It utilizes a simple but powerful Attitude and Behavior Modification Program.
The Key Component of the Home Interventions is a Personal Coach that assist parents in implementing the attitude and behavior modification program with their Teen immediately to create needed changes in their home.
Also included:
Easy to Understand Video Instructions that serve as a Resource and compliment to the Personal Coach for the parents
Specially designed Computer Software for the Behavior Modification Program. While Program can be operated without the software, this software really enhances the whole progress and Teens enjoy the automation it creates.

Option 2 - Flexible Enrollment
Another cost-effective option is a Flex-enrollment at selected Intervention Centers. Flex-enrollment means the enrollment is totally flexible. Your Teen can be enrolled for a few days, few weeks, a few months or any other period of time based on needs and budget. The objective is to get your Teen's attention, reshape their priorities, and become properly motivated. When a Teen is properly motivated, they want good rapport and relationships with their parents, they want to succeed at school, they want to get along with others, they want to be trusted, and they want to contribute to their home and society.
However, when a Teen is not properly motivated they are almost impossible to get along with, they resist any personal accountability or responsibility, they are defiant to parents, and they don't care about anything or anybody but themselves! They just want to be allowed to do their own thing!
Motivation is the Key. Change the motivation you change the attitudes and behavior.
Almost without exception, just a few days or even a weekend at a highly structured, regimented, disciplined and supervised Intervention Center and Teens become highly motivated to cooperate with parents, show them respect, and follow all home rules in lieu of staying longer or returning.
As the Teen returns home, parents remind the Teen what the Intervention Center has already emphasized that any slip in attitude, behavior, or motivation will result in them returning to the Intervention Center. This keeps the Teen motivated on a ongoing basis and gives parents tremendous leverage moving forward that they never had before!
The other main advantage of the Flex-enrollment is it allows parents to minimize the cost and get their Teen immediate help within their own specified budget. Parents can usually get their Teens turned around and permanently motivated at a fraction of the cost of any other options available.
Due it's low cost and flexibility, this option also allows parents to intervene early. Research has shown that the earlier Parents intervene when a Teen is headed in negative direction the easier and less costly it is to get them turned around. The longer Parents wait the greater chance of even irreparable harm happening to their Teen.
This option allows you to stop negative Teen behavior now before it get worst or increasingly dangerous. It allows you to restore your home and family immediately with minimal disruption and cost.

- I think these videos treat PARENTS as if they have no credibility or intelligence. I would be willing to bet that many struggling parents have come up with many(probably better)ideas such as the ones presented here. These tecniques don't work with all children. Sometimes there are other problems or issues that need to be addressed first. See your doctor or licensed counselor; anybody with some credentials, not just some organization out to get your money. These people need to quit blaming parents. What kind of success rate do their rehabs have. Probably low like most rehabilitation centers.. New educated ideas please.
