Rick Salomon eventually released a clearer version of the sex video, which he sold to the pornographic production company Red Light District. Red Light District distributed the DVD copies of the Paris Hilton sex tape video. The full copy of 1 Night in Paris was released in the market in 2004.The Paris Hilton sex tape lasts 102 minutes and was shot in different locations, including a hotel room and a swimming pool. The sex video was taped interchangeably by both Paris Hilton and Rick Salomon. Some DVD copies contain an additional four bonus scenes featuring other pornographic actors, such as Monica Sweetheart and Taylor Rain. Paris Hilton sued Rick Salomon for allegedly releasing the sex tape on purpose. However, this claim was never confirmed. In July 2005, the case was settled and Paris Hilton was given $400,000!
