Paris breaks are a fabulous choice for a holiday in Europe. I love Paris and my idea of heaven is a week in my favourite city. I'd like to share my love of Paris and everything it has to offer with you. Come and explore Paris with me and see if I can tempt you to book that Paris break you've always dreamed of!
I'll take you to see the famous and the not so famous sights of Paris. I'll introduce you to interesting parts of Paris away from the tourist traps.
Come for a ride on the river bus, shop with me in the market near Mouftarde, stop for Bretton crepes and cider in the Marais or just sit on the balcony and watch the night life of the Latin Quarter pass us by while we drink a pastis or two.

Paris Breaks - the bridges of the Siene
Come for a river trip with me

You get a totally different view of Paris from the river. There are lots of ways to explore the river. Some people like to book one of the fancy dinner boats but I love the hop on hop off river bus. You buy a ticket, the best value are the 3 or 7 day passes and then you can just use the river bus to get about the city. The metro is excellent but the river bus is much more romantic!
I love catching it first thing in the morning from the stop by Notre Dame and taking a leisurely ride up to the Louvre or maybe Musee D'Orcy. A pleasant morning gawping at art and maybe a riverside lunch and then rest your feet as the river bus takes you either to more art or some gentle shopping.
Use it as much as you like, the boats are regular and reasonably comfortable.

The skinny on the city we love
Paris ( in English, in French) is the capital of France and the country's most populous city. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the ÃŽle-de-France region (also known as the "Paris Region"; ). The city of Paris, within its administrative limits largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,203,817 (January 2006), but the Paris aire urbaine (or metropolitan area) has a population of 11,769,433 (January 2006), and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe.
An important settlement for more than two millennia, Paris is today one of the world's leading business and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science and the arts all contribute to its status as one of the world's major global cities.
Paris and the Paris Region, with ?533.6 billion (US$731.3 billion) in 2007, produces more than a quarter of the gross domestic product (GDP) of France. According to 2007 estimates, the Paris urban agglomeration is Europe's second biggest city economy and the sixth largest in the world. The Paris Region hosts 38 of the Fortune Global 500 companies in several business districts, notably La Défense, the largest purpose-built business district in Europe. Paris also hosts many international organizations such as UNESCO, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the informal Paris Club.
Paris is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, with 45Â million tourists every year in the Paris Region, 60% of whom are foreign visitors. There are numerous iconic landmarks among its many attractions, along with world-famous institutions and popular parks.
