Bon Jour
My trip to Paris was a great experience accept for the long plane ride to and from the US. There is so much great history in Paris especially all of the old buildings and castles. Not to mention the stampede that my brother and sister in law was involved in for a good 1 and a half minutes when the police rallied around a rowdy crowd during the New Years Eve celebration. I didn't know I could run that fast. The real eye opener was when I withdrew $300 Euros from the ATM, that equaled $440 us dollars, ouch. This is a great country and I will definetly revisit.

- thanks for favouriting my poppy lens of the day...you and I inhabit such different worlds ( I am boggled by the financial world) and still we share a love of flowers. I am off to France in a few weeks where I manage a garden for an English couple. Needless to say I am planting poppies there, as well as wild flower meadows and bluebell woods along with the olive trees.
This time I will try to spend some time in Paris rather than just pass through.

- I've been to Paris a couple of times and just loved it, especially touring the Louvre and riding a Baton Mouche on the Seine. It's been a long time, though, and I hope to eventually return with my husband. My previous two trips were high school trips, so going with my husband would be a MUCH different experience.

- I loved Paris, even though I wasn't going to go. I have a lens on the Louvre you might like and will soon do one of the banks of the Seine. I would love to go back!

- Your lens makes me nostalgic for the brief time I spent in Paris many years ago. We went to the Moulin Rouge, visited the Eiffel Tower, of course, ate croissants and cheese and were disappointed to find that the Louvre was closed to celebrate a French holiday. Thanks for the memories ...
