I was using a Mathews Mission. But i traded it for a Parker Wildfire XP and I absolutely love it. Shoots real good, real lite. I recommend it to anyone who bow hunts and don't have the money to buy the bigger more popular name brand bows. The Parker will put anythng down that a Hoyt, Mathews, or PSE will.

I have a Parker Cyclone crossbow and I purchase a sidewinder cockig device with the bow and after about 25 loads the cocking devise string is frayed and worn and I can not find a place to order a new string. I woulod think that the life of a parker crossbow sidewinder cocking device would have been built better

Make sure it the bow causing the harmonics. Your arrow rest, your sight any other gadgets you've added could all be the source of some noise. If you can have a friend listed to see if he can obtain where exactly the sound is comming from. You might find it to be your rest or sight vibrating after the shot.
    Good Luck

Last year I purchased a Buckshot and really do like it and about two weeks ago I bought a Sidekick XP. Because of a muscle condition I find these bows keep me in archery. The one thing I found both bows have in common is the noise I hear after release. It seems too loud for me compare to my buddy's bows. I have installed limb savers, an STS, string silencers, plus a Bow Jax on the STS on both bows, but the after release the noise is still there on both bows. Other than the loud noise I love both of these bows because they perform well and fit my special needs. I shoot a Carbon Tech Cheetah 525 at 26 inches at 265 grains, (which is recommended by the arrow charts), and both bows are set at 41 to 43.5 pounds. Any advise on how to quieten these bows down a little bit? Thanks in advance for your assistance.
