I have been a long time Eels fan htrough thick and thin. Unfortunately it's been more thin than thick lately but I'm sure that we can return to our rightful place in the NRL real soon.

The new look board at the football club and leagues club might be just the change we need.

News

* 14th May 2009 - Nathan Hindmarsh has knocked back some very large offers to sign another 2 year contract with Parramatta. It would be wonderful to see a stalwart such as Hindy finish his career as a one team man. If only we had a few more Hindy's!

* 4th May 2009 - It's still early days yet but Parramatta's performance last weekend was a marked improvement over recent times. Jarryd Hayne looked much more comfortable as fullback. I think he likes the flexibility the position gives him to roam the field much more.

* Parramatta CEO Denis Fitzgerald is under extreme pressure to hold his job after the election of a rebel ticket to the board this week. After being CEO for 30 years many Eels fans feel that it's time for a big change of culture in the club.
Unfortunately old player rivalries have hampered Parra's progress over recent years. This fresh new board may help to fix that and return the Eels to their rightful place as geuine premiership contenders. We'll see!!!
