    Oh my.. Hummus... I live in the Middle East currently and Hummus has beat every other kind of dip! Thanks for the lens.. Very useful!

    Pepperidge Farms used to offer a dip mix called "party dip", and it was my favorite. Too bad they quit making it! Onion has to be my favorite, and it can be the Lipton soup kind; french onion, or green onion. I'm not picky!

    I can tell that these recipes are all winners except for the hummus one. I am not familiar with the ingredient hummus itself so I think I'll try that one first.

    As a college student we are always having an overnight report making in one of our classmates house. And we often wonder what to eat. We are tired with chips and curls and so this lens was really a help..

    I found a recipe awhile back ago that I tried out for potato chips. I only remember the ingredients, and not the measurements. But it consisted of cream cheese, garlic and feta cheese. :)

    Olive dips and spreads. Hummus and Tabule. Tzatziki and Taramosalata (Greek Fish Roe Salad). Fondu(s). -- I see my repertoir is a little limited :-) I will try out a couple of American or Mexican recipes. Thanks for the info.

    SAMPLE RECIPE: Crab Dip

    1 lb crab meat
    1/2 c mayonnaise or salad dressing
    1 garlic salt, to taste
    2 tb onion, grated
    2 ts prepared mustard
    2 ts powdered sugar
    2/3 c white wine

    Mix together all the ingredients - except for the crab meat.
    Heat slowly.
    Add the Crab meat.
    Serve warm with crackers.
    Yield: 8 servings

    I've got to say that the hot crab parmesan and the hot cheesy spinach would be listed at the top of my favorites. I wanted to give you a really simple two ingredient fruit dip recipe as well. My step-mother used to make it all the time after she had it in Paris. It is simply brown sugar and sour cream, mixed to taste. SSimple and yet perfect for dipping any fruit. Great lens with some fantastic dips.

    Thanks for some great dip recipe sites, I can't buy dip at the stores because I can't eat soy, and it gets exhausting having to look through thousands of recipes online, this definitely narrows down the search.
