A designer brand of shoes with exquisite European styling and made in Argentina! That's Paruolo!

I discovered the designer brand of Paruolo while searching on eBay for a pair of shoes.  As I loved the European styling of these handcrafted shoes, I was compelled to write this lens.  Researching the brand further, I discovered that Paruolo shoes are handmade using the best quality leather.  These shoes are NOT production shoes, but are actually handcrafted by skilled shoe makers in Argentina.

Argentinean Leather Shoes -- Some of the finest!

As you may know, Argentinean leather shoes and handbags are well known around the word for their unique style and desirability.  Argentinean shoe makers actually learned the craftsmanship and the art of shoe making from their Italian ancestors who immigrated to the country during the late 1950s.

I've selected a nice variety of Paruolo shoes and hope that you find something that you like! What you'll find about the Paruolo brand is that you can find the widest variety of footwear that you don't need to go anywhere else!  Oh, if you're considering tango lessons, I've included a few YouTube videos of the Argentinian Tango.  Hey, a pair of Paruolo shoes would be great tango shoes!

Argentinian Tango !

Ah, the art of the tango!

Tango Dance by Gustavo and Jesica from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Song: Claudinette, by Lidia Borda

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina this is a tango by dancers Gustavo and Jesica Hornos. Tango Is like a fluid dialogue where the bodies talk and surprise each other step after step. Gustavo and Jesica met each other at a tango party at Stanford University. They didn't know that they were from the same Spanish speaking city and Gustavo invited her to dance introducing himself in English... then because of his accent Jesica thought Gustavo was from France, and Gustavo very soon realized that Jesica was from...another world. Thanks to the magic of tango now they are husband and wife and dance partners. Their mission is to spread Fun, Love and Healing through the power of Tango Dancing. Their tango is beyond the steps...they dance from their hearts. Tango is truly a deep metaphor of superb communication, teamwork, leadership and followership skills, trust, romance, sensuality and enjoyment of life itself. To contact them call USA +1 (415) 573-5735 or e-mail at info@tangoclasses.com For more info please visit http://www.TangoClasses.com In this video Gustavo and Jesica are dancing to the song Claudinette (tango by Delfino and Centeya) interpreted by Lidia Borda. Hi.

I have many shoes, boots and sandals from Paruolo. I must say they are very well handcrafted, and confortable. Many of their designs are knockoffs from european designers, though.

It's a pitty they don't sell online. Maybe in ebay you can find a store that sells them.

They do have resellers throughout the world I believe. The site is www.paruolo.com.ar

Designer shoes play a big part in my novel, My Mother's Shoes. I could have used this lens when researching shoe brands and styles. I live in sneakers and flip-flops.
    Great lens

Argentina at a glance

Argentina, officially the Argentine Republic (, ), is the second largest country in South America, constituted as a federation of 23 provinces and an autonomous city, Buenos Aires. It is the eighth-largest country in the world by land area and the largest among Spanish-speaking nations, though Mexico, Colombia and Spain are more populous.

Argentina's continental area is between the Andes mountain range in the west and the Atlantic Ocean in the east. It borders Paraguay and Bolivia to the north, Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast, and Chile to the west and south. Argentina claims the British overseas territories of the Falkland Islands and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands. It also claims a part of Antarctica, overlapping claims made by Chile and the United Kingdom, though all claims were suspended by the Antarctic Treaty of 1961. Argentina today is one of the G-20 major economies.
