Pastel Painting Resources
Pastel Painting is extremely satisfying and addictive! Currently enjoying a popularity revival, it's easy to understand why. The myriad of fabulous juicy colours are mouth-watering. You can achieve so may different effects too - from smooth skin tones to crunchy textures found in nature. And the spontaneity of pastel painting is akin to playing with crayons! :-)
I've been painting in pastel for more than 20 years and I'm still learning! I'm a trained art teacher and run pastel workshops in the U.K. as well as online in the Painting Pastel Club.
There's so much more to pastel than coloured chalks ... I hope my lens will inspire you to have a go, discover many fabulous techniques and become completely hooked like me!
