After Business Hours:

Resumes and professional biography aside (after all they can be a little dry): this is who I am.And this is what I love to do (when I'm not hanging off 15 foot ladders draping fabric from ceilings).

Just the Facts Ma'am...

First, a few Stats

I'm turning thirty nine this year (for the first time).

I'm an even 5' tall.

I have size 4 feet(this is the equivalent of 2.5 in children's shoes).

I'm the youngest of two children.

I was the first to get married.

I'm the third shortest in my family.

I was the youngest of four generations of women living at my parents' house up until 1997.

I'm the only member of my family that has more than one collection.

I've owned (or been owned) by 2 wiener dogs.

I'm the only member of my family who has pierced ears.

I Love...

My husband:
We've been married for four years and are still learning new things all the time. He makes me laugh. He stops me from getting dramatic. He listens, and has the patience of Job. He loves to learn, and makes a mean meatloaf. He faces the job-dragon every day to provide for us.He's been told numerous times he resembles Kiefer Sutherland. He loves dogs.

My Family

My parents have always been encouraging and supportive, and responsible for my entrepreneurial venture.
My aunts have been like second moms and opened worlds for me growing up and even now.
My grandmother and great grandmother, when she lived with us are my solid links to my roots and the past.
My brother who shows me how far living fearlessly can take you.
My sister in law who has a will of iron, and heart of gold.

I'm addicted to:

Purses:

I have a modest collection (relatively speaking) of 50 bags. I love older Coach bags, and some of the new, vintage evening bags, cute and totally impractical bags (at times), unique cosmetic bags (soon to be replaced by my own...hint hint). And some bags that just make a statement without being name brand.
I own one vintage Louis Vuitton that has never seen the light of day. But other than that, every bag has been used at least once in my collection.

Wiener Dogs:

I've been owned by 2. Currently, I am owned by a 16 year old black and tan smooth haired named Kato. A cute stubborn chubby pawed little long dog.
This of course means I have a dachshund collection (notably paper items).

One of the Few Wiener Dog Characters in the Comics: Wally

Here is the Other: Oscar from Liberty Meadows

Favourite Things:

No, not raindrops on roses...

Japanese Stationery
Round Rocks
Orchids
Hydrangeas
My Aunt's Cheesecake
Noodles(except udon:bad experience)
The colours red,purple and fuschia
Artistry Hand Creme

Cookies from The Secret Garden

One of my Favourite Flowers

What I Love to Do:

Sewing

Tinker with a seemingly never ending sword and sorcery story I've been working on

Draw when the mood strikes

Rollerblade

Make Muffins

Go to Granville Island and just walk around, especially in summer

Make Creative Messes in general

Veg with my husband

Play with the dog

Go to musicals or ballets

Watch movies (light on the romantic comedy...not too into chick flicks)

Walk around Stanley Park

Eat sushi

Find a great dessert place and keep it to ourselves(guilty pleasure)

My Nasty Addiction

To me, purses are like chips...I can't stop at one. And, if you're going to have to cart stuff around with you all day...why not do it in style, have fun and start a conversation all at once?

Beautiful. With 4 feet at 5 feet tall you sure pack a big punch. You have a really cheerful disposition.
Keep up the good work!
