Pattaya Girl Friendly Hotel Guide

Here's why you should stay in a girl friendly hotel in Pattaya. Whenever you're in Pattaya's red light district you're bound to meet a fun loving Thai lady who will treat you right. After bar fining her you take her out to dinner, dancing and drinking, a true girl friend experience. Then you take her back to your hotel to end the night with a bang (no pun intended). Right after you step through the door with lady in hand you get stopped by a smug security guard who gestures you to the reception desk where you're presented a bill for 600Baht by another smug looking receptionist.

That's what will happen if you don't stay at a hotel that is girl friendly. And that 600Baht bill is called a joiner fee and if you don't pay then there's no play with your lady of the night. Unless you take her to another a short time hotel, but that's just defeating the purpose of not paying extra money. What's worst is you already booked a week at this non-girl friendly hotel and there's no way for you to get your money back..

This is a common problem with most first timers to Thailand and many times this has blown their careful planning and budget. So if you know what you're doing ahead of time you can avoid this mistake and save yourself some extra money as well as a bit of embarrassment by staying at a hotel that is girl friendly.

How to Get to Pattaya

And Back to Bangkok

From Suvarnabhumi Airport:
Finding a taxi to Pattaya is easy. Just ignore the expensive touts at the arrival hall and look for an airport sign for the taxi stand outside. Don't get confused with the "Official Airport Taxi" it's a rip off. Outside you will find a long line of parked multi-colored Toyota Corollas. State your destination to the staff behind the desk. The flat rate price is 1300THB not including highway toll which isn't really that much more extra. Taxis can hold four passengers but it'll be really cramped, so it's a good deal. However you're going to have a hard time fitting all the luggage in the back of the trunk.

Travel time from the airport to Pattaya is about an 1 hour and 30 minutes.

An alternative option is public air conditioned bus which leaves the airport every two hours. Tickets only cost 106THB a real bargain. Buses will drop you off at the bus station on North Pattaya road. From there you're own your own to find a taxi to get to your hotel.
From Bangkok:
The most common way to get to Pattaya from Bangkok is by taking an air conditioned bus at the Eastern Bus Terminal on Sukhumvit road Soi 63 which is near the Ekkamai BTS station. Buses are plenty but it's best to leave early if you want more room. Buses depart every 30 minutes starting from 5:30am to 11:30pm everyday and cost 117THB.

There are two other bus stations, the Northern Bus Terminal at Mochit with service between 5:20 and 11:20pm; Southern Bus Terminal near Khao San road has scheduled services running from 8:30am, 10:00am, 12:00pm, 2:00pm, 4:00pm and finally 6:30pm.

Buses from those stations cost about 100THB as well and are air conditioned.

You can also take a taxi of course from Bangkok. Technically the rate is 1500THB not including highway tolls, but many time the drivers ask for 2000THB. It's up to you if you agree or not or you can try and negotiate a price. Most of the time it works in your favor as there are so many taxis in Bangkok.

Here are even more ways to get to Pattaya from Bangkok and back.

Here's What to Expect in Pattaya

This is a video of Pattaya's very own sex district. As you can see tourism is a bit slow as its usually quite packed with more men roaming the streets in search of a good time. So if you're fortunate to visit Pattaya any time soon then you're going to be way ahead of the competition.

Map of Pattaya

Pattaya's red light district is one serious party town full of clubs, beer bars, massage parlors and go go bars. All of the hotels featured on this list are close to Walking Street, Second Road, and Beach Road. These areas have the most concentration of popular go go bars.

For the sake of keeping this website short, we're just going to focus on girl friendly hotels. However, if you want info on Pattaya's best go go bars check out Pattaya Nightlife Guide.

List of Girl Friendly Hotels in Pattaya

These are hotels that I and my friends have reviewed. I've only personally stayed in the LK hotels in the past since I have a home in Pattaya now. However, when I have friends visiting I always take a look at the hotels they're staying in just to see how it looks. Keep in mind your experience might be different. I suggest you read reviews by guests from all over the world by clicking on the link at the hotel reservation website. You can also find updated room rates as well as where the hotels are located exactly.

The Sawasdee Sea View hotel is as cheap as it can get without sacrificing too much comfort and quality. Sawasdee Sea View hotel has the most mixed reviews from my friends who've stayed here previously as well as from guest who've booked this hotel from here.

The location is not too far from the beach if that's what you like, but it's definitely close to many go go bars and massage parlors on Beach Road and Walking Street. So if you want to save money and not the type that complains this may be a good choice for you.

I happen to like Sawasadee because it is in a good location. I find that the rooms are clean and good enough for what I come to Pattaya for. I've booked a room on this website 5 times and each time it was smooth and you have really good room price.

Was here for 2 nights last week in November and my stay was ok. Not much to really say about this hotel since there really isn't much. I stayed on the 3rd floor a standard room and my room had a funny smell like mildew and salt. I saw a huge roach near my window when I opened my window and can't fault the hotel though since there are roaches everywhere. The real plus point Sawasdee is location and price.

The Honey Inn Pattaya is just a 10 minute walk to Walking Street where most of the popular go go bars located. There are a few go go bars in the immediate area that are worthwhile to check out. Lots of good restaurants and bars to check out too.

A few of my friends who've stayed in the Honey Inn previously say the rooms aren't that bad for a cheap hotel as the rooms were just renovated in 2008. Most the staff don't really speak English, but are still helpful, so just be patient. As one of the cheapest hotels on this list you can't really expect too much. All the rooms here have a private balcony, which is a nice touch for drinking and smoking.

Can't really complain about the plain standard rooms since I paid so cheap. I booked a 2 night stay here. Could hear my neighbors getting it on, so I guess they can hear me and my bargirl too lol! But really, if you want a cheap room with a decent bed and hot shower honey inn is right for you. It's close to go go bars and massage parlors which really helps.

Honey Inn is a standard hotel with nothing too special about it. Stayed here for 3 days but couldn't really do too much because of the damn rain and flooding in the streets. Oh well back to Bangkok now. I would still come back to Honey Inn because it's priced right for my pocket book.

Many of my friends who've stayed at Diamond City Place love this hotel and often come back whenever they're back in Thailand. Technically this hotel is a serviced apartment with kitchens, except the standard rooms. Standard rooms however do have balcony which is important for a cigarette smoker like me. If you want a bigger room you should book a deluxe or suite room. However, the standard rooms are 30sq. meters in size, which is already adequate. There is a nice small pool to cool off in.

Diamond City Place is in a strategic location, just a 5 minute walk to Walking Street's go go bar action. If that's too far then check out some of the most popular go go bars in Pattaya such as Sharks, Angel Witch Pattaya and Baby Dolls near Diamond City Place.

I stayed in a superior room for 3 days and my room had some plumbing problem. Asked to move but only gave me new room during my second day. Was a little pissed about that because I know there were rooms available on the 5th floor. If it wasn't for the cheap price and clean rooms I wouldn't come back.

Sunshine Hotel and Residence is another hotel in Pattaya where I hear a lot of guests return again and again. The hotel management here has a great balance of excellent rooms and service for a budget room rates. Most of the reviewers can't even believe they charge such low rates. But it's simple. If you offer great customer satisfaction you're going to get repeat customers. And Sunshine Hotel and Residence has certainly done that. So this is quite a popular hotel in Pattaya.

The location is not too far from the beach too, but if you don't want to walk, no worries at all. There are 2 swimming pools for a good swim. All the bar actions on Walking street is just a short 10 minute stroll, but there are plenty of nice beer bars to pick up ladies nearby. I don't often make recommendations but I like this hotel as well.

They were going to get me a differrent room but I didn't want to lug my bags around. However I give them praise for giving me the option to move. Location wise it's a bit far off from the main drag of go go bars, about a 20 minute walk, however this area is nice and quiet. Plus there are some really nice beer bars and pubs to meet beautiful women.

I remember too when the Nova was really expensive, I think twice the price I recall. But now its much better so I went ahead and booked 5 nights. My friend booked Nova last year and I saw the hotel is very modern and rooms are spacious and clean. It's the reason why I decided to stay here since the room rate is so much more affordable. Breakfast is a real plus here with many choices to choose from, very delicious, I filled myself up with bacon and waffles every day.

I knew Nova normally cost more and they must've lowered their rates because they're desperate for guests. It's not a bad choice hotel, just a big far from gg bars but it's not such a big deal since there are plenty of tuks tuks and taxis that cant take you anywhere for cheap. If they keep the same low room rates I'll defintiey come back because Nova is a nice hotel, very clean and new.

I noticed this hotel was deeply discounted so I took a chance. This is my 3rd night in a one week stay and I'm booking an extra week. Nova is a new hotel and the rooms are really low. Best to take advantage of the rates now. Book a superior room. You don't need to spend that little extra for a deluxe.

I like the Nova because it's a really comfortable hotel and I am a frequent guest here. I certainly don't think it's expensive at all because the value and quality of this hotel is high. It'll probably cost twice as much if this hotel was in Bangkok and 3 times as much if it was in USA.

By staying here I know I'm not going to get a filthy room.

LK Renaissance Hotel

Rates start at 1800THB includes taxes and breakfast

LK Renaissance HotelLK Renaissance Hotel
Address: 33/154 Moo 10, Soi Diana
LK Renaissance is another fine hotel property from the LK Management. This hotel is smaller then the sister properties but the rooms are very nice in size. The standard rooms are 40sq. meters. There's a nice big pool for guest use, but no fitness center. This is another popular hotel so it's best to book in advance.

The only negative, and it is a minor negative is that the hotel is located about 20 minutes from all the popular go go bars of Walking Street. But there's still plenty of great spots to meet women near the LK Renaissance.

Top hotel, I couldn't be much happier when I first stepped into my superior room. Originally I booked here for 2 nights because I didn't know if this hotel is as good as the photos. I can't believe the room rates is so affordable but after you told me they reduced the price I knew I had to try out this hotel. Thank you so much for your assistance!

Awesome hotel with new and modern decorated rooms. Can't believe the room rates are lower in Pattaya. Then again everything cost much lower here. Love this place and this hotel is worth every penny. Highly recommended too!

Stayed 6 nights at this hotel and just got back to Bangkok. I'll be heading back to Pattaya in 3 weeks and guess where I'm staying. That's right back here at LK Renaissance. This is an excellent hotel and you won't regret staying here. I recommend this hotel too!

All I could say is the quality of this hotel is really high for the low price. I have a feeling Lk will raise the rates of the hotels soon. Rooms here are so clean and comfortable so this is a place I'll stay for quite some time in Pattaya. Great breakfast spread too and nice service by some pretty ladies at the front desk. I think I'll try and hit on her when I go back.

Couldn't really believe how low the rates for this hotel is. Room here is decent size and very nice decorted like pictures. Has a cute receptionist in front wit beautiful smile. At my third night here and loving every minute of it. Only problem is the breakfast is a bit cold but maybe because I wake up late. Ahh... so many ladies so little time. Peace Out!

LK Royal Suite

LK Royal SuiteLK Royal Suite
Address: 66/33 Moo 9, Soi Boukhow
LK is a popular hotel chain in Pattaya. LK Royal Suite is one of them and it's a really nice hotel that many guests have returned to again and again. Many people consider LK Royal Suites as a luxury hotel and I tend to agree. I took a at the rooms a few times when my friends stayed there and was impressed with the very nice clean rooms. There is a pool and a fitness center with modern equipment.

The only small negative is that it's just a tad far from Walking Street and the popular go go bars, about a 20 minute walk. But to be honest if it was me I wouldn't really mind.

Lk Suite is the perfect hotel to stay in Pattya. It's a really new hotel and the quality is very good. I prefer to swim in their swimming pool then that filthy pattaya beach. Breakfast is good and very feeling and my superior room was in great shape.

This is a fine resort in Pattaya. Marriott has done it again with the best service and quality. My lady loved the bed so much she didn't want to leave and neither did I. Marriott pattaya is definitely one to come back to time and time again.

I only stay at Marriotts too and I was not surprised this is a really good hotel. They even treated my bar girl like a regular guest, which is not normal in most gf hotels in Bangkok and Pattaya.
