Sauce
2 cups canned, diced tomatoes
2 cups tomato sauce
1 cup water
1/2 cup onions, diced
1/2 cup green bell peppers, diced
2 cloves garlic, diced
1/4 cup chopped, fresh parsley leaves
11/2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
11/2 teaspoons The Lady's House Seasoning, recipe follows
1 1/2 teaspoons seasoning salt
1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 pounds ground beef

6 to 9 Long strips lasagna noodles
12 ounces cottage cheese, mixed with 1 beaten egg and 1/2 cup Parmesan
1 cup Gruyere cheese, grated
1 cup Swiss cheese, grated
2 cups cheddar, grated
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
1 cup mozzarella, grated

Paula Deen fans come to Savannah, Georgia, from all over the world, lining up to get a table at her flagship restaurant, The Lady and Sons (the sons, of course, referring to her handsome offspring Jamie and Bobby Deen). A trip to Paula's restaurant is exhilarating (will she be there?) and comforting. The culinary offerings at The Lady and Sons represent comfort food at its best, featuring the very finest Southern soul cuisine: traditional barbeque, meatloaf, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, and fried chicken. Soiled linens spontaneously combusted in an upstairs hallway at Food Network celebrity cook Paula Deen's Lady and Sons restaurant on Sunday night. At approximately 11 pm Sunday night, a bag full of aprons, towels and tablecloths began smoldering in a third floor hallway, creating clouds of billowing smoke at Paula Deen's flagship restaurant but thankfully no flames or permanent damage. Paula Deen, her husband Michael Groover, and her two sons, Jamie and Bobby Deen raced to the restaurant from their east Savannah homes to inspect the damage. Paula arrived in her bathrobe and slippers in her haste.
