Paula Newby-Fraser is the greatest triathlete of all time. She won 24 Ironman Championships - that's more than twice that was won by the other triathlon legends - Mark Allen & Erin Baker (8 each) and Dave Scott (7).
When she finished 11th overall in 1988 Ironman, it was called the "greatest performance in endurance sports history".
Paula Newby-Fraser was called "The Greatest All-Around Female Athlete in the World" by The Los Angeles Times. She was also named to The Top 5 Professional Female Athletes by the United States Sports Academy (CNN & USA Today! poll).
