Paula's most widely recognized logo

Most of the general public with recognize the citi logo by Paula Scher

citi group logo concept on napkin

The citi group logo was designed in the meeting on a napkin by Paula. The image of the travelers umbrella and the citi lower case t met each other perfectly . It was simple and obvious to the experienced designer. It is funny to hear her talk about how long it took for them to approve the logo. The multiple versions to come back to the original idea. First instincts are often correct.
