PMI Legal Project Management Community of Practice

The Project Management Institute's (PMI) Legal Project Management Community of Practice provides access to practitioners who have a shared interest in promoting project management in the legal world. The community develops and disseminates consistent standards of project management terminology and practices, promotes the economic value of legal project management, and provides opportunities to shape its future.

I currently serve as the Community Lead for the PMI LPM CoP.

PMI Services & Outsourcing SIG

PMI's Service & Outsourcing Community of Practice supports and sponsors professional development of program managers, project managers, project leaders, project liaisons and project teams working on both sides of Service and/or Outsourcing engagement.

I served on its board of directors for two years as its Director of Administration when it was the Service & Outsourcing Specific Interest Group, an incorporated, non-profit affiliate of PMI.

Legal Project Management Group on Linked In

I started this group in after the tepid response to the LPM group on Xing. I've had more success with this Linked In group and I encourage any one interested in Legal Project Management to sign up.

I set up this group for discussions on Legal Project Management. I'm interested in starting an organization dedicated to the topic. I am also trying several other discussion group services to see which takes off.
