Paul Smith is a British Designer and Perfumer from Nottingham, United Kingdom. Born in July 1946, Paul Smith took to fashion after his early dream of becoming a cyclist ended with a cycling accident. He opened his first store in Nottingham in 1970, primarily concerned with catering to men, but later adding a childrens (1990) and women (1993) range.
One of the most popular range of Paul Smith products is the Paul Smith Perfumes and Aftershave range. This range contains a number of strong brands of Paul Smith (such as Extreme, London, Floral and Story), and are created using the same unique designs and touches his clothing line has (for example, the bottles for Paul Smith Extreme display the same coloured lines as found inside many of his clothes).

Sir Paul Smith, RDI, (born in Beeston, Nottingham on July 5, 1946) is an English fashion designer, whose business and reputation is founded upon his menswear. Smith was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in 2001, after nearly three decades as a menswear icon. His collections of clothing and accessories for both men and women are usually identified by the presence of Smith's signature multi-coloured pinstripe motif somewhere on each item.
Paul Smith is credited with introducing a number of trends within the realms of fashion and 'lifestyle' including the revival of boxer shorts and of the Filofax in the early 1980s.
