The First Affordable Camera

In 1900 the first affordable Brownie Camera was introduced. It cost just one dollar and even a child could use it. Children even could join a Brownie Camera Club.

Kodak has come a long way since 1900, but it is still a thrill to me to view pictures of the older cameras. The following pictures are of some cameras I have purchased in my pawnshop We Sell It All Dicker & Deal Here . You can also find more information on opening your own Pawnshop at: The Economy Is Right To Own Your Own Pawn Shop!!!!!

Brownie Flash Six-20

Introduced in 1946 and originally cost $6.00. The camera in the picture has a sticker on the bottom that it was made in Canada 1939. I am not sure what that is about, but I will go with the Brownie Brownie Camera website for accurate information. It used the 620 film and created pictures 2 1/4" by 3 1/4". Todays value ranges from $8-15.00

Brownie Reflex Synchro Model

Introduced in 1940 and used the film size 127. Original price $6.00. Todays value $10-20.00. The extra flash with this one might bring a little more.

No. 3 Brownie

Introduced in 1908 and used film 124. The one in the picture must be a 1911 version because it says Model B on the inside case. In 1911 they made internal changes to the lens board. This camera also has a sticker on the inside from the original Drug Store it was bought from.
