We all complain, but most of us have it pretty easy. Sure, there are rough spots along the way. It happens to all of us. Why not help out someone who's going through a rough spot?
Hopefully, this lens will inspire everyone that visits to do one little deed today to help someone- a loved one, a neighbor, a co-worker, or a complete stranger. Try to make a habit out of it- just one tiny gesture each day. If everyone did this, imagine the effect on the entire world. It's amazing to think about the possible results.
So, everyone in the world, visit my lens. Since that's impossible, pass the word on and Pay It Forward. Also, all profits from this lens from sales goes to the Cancer Research and Prevention Foundation. So Pay It Forward by purchasing something.

Ways to Pay It Forward and Brighten Someone's Day
- When getting off of a long airplane flight, leave that magazine you bought at the airport. The next flyer won't be stuck with nothing to read but the boring airlines magazine.
- This idea didn't even used to be considered a good deed, but common courtesy. Sadly though, I am truly shocked when someone stands and holds open a door for me nowadays. Try it sometime. It's not a sexist thing. It doesn't matter if you are man or woman, or the other person's gender either. Simply hold open the door for someone behind you and let them step in first. Bonus points if it's cold, raining, or you're in a really big hurry. ;-)
- If you have a great waiter or waitress, go out of your way to let them personally know how much you appreciate them. We humans are quick to complain, but usually accept great service with no recognition. Try asking your waiter for the manager. When he or she brings back his/her boss, tell the manager what an excellent employee they hired. It doesn't hurt to give a generous tip as well.

Pay It Forward = Random Acts of Kindness
A random act of kindness is a selfless act performed by a person or persons wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual or in some cases an animal. There will generally be no reason other than to make people smile, or be happier. Either spontaneous or planned in advance, random acts of kindness are encouraged by various communities. An oft-cited example of a random act of kindness is, when paying the toll at a toll booth on a highway, to pay the toll for the vehicle behind you as well.

Pay It Forward
Pay Forward. Help 3 people, ask them to help 3. Make the world a better place! Please Visit... www.myspace.com/payforward FOR MORE INFORMATION!!! Add me as a friend and LETS CHANGE THE WORLD! ***NOTE: there is one slight error to this video... instead of... "if you help 3 people and those 3 people help 3 people you have helped 9 people" It should actually say "12" Because... I help 1, 2 and 3 1 helps 4, 5 and 6 2 helps 7, 8 and 9 3 helps 10, 11 and 12! I guess I was thinking about the direct result of someone helping 3 individuals... which would be 9 (if you don't count the 3 that helped the other 9). I just worded it wrong! Same message =) Help people=lots of other people helped!****

Quran & Hadith Reminder. #3 " Good Deeds"
A Reminder video which i made for us all to benefit from Insh'Allah. Topic: Good Deeds Hadith: Narrated Abu Huraira: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." Al-Bukhari Quran: Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving; Al-Mulk 67:2
History of the Phrase "Pay It Forward"
The expression "pay it forward" is used to describe the concept of asking that a good turn be repaid by having it done to others instead. In contract law, typically there are two parties but there is the concept of third party beneficiaries. Pay it forward merely applies this contract law concept so that third party beneficiary be a stranger to the creditor (or obligee). More specifically, the creditor (obligee) offers the debtor (obligor) the option of "paying" the debt forward by lending it to a third person instead of paying it back to the original creditor. Debt and payments can be monetary or by good deeds. In sociology, this concept is called "generalized reciprocity" or "generalized exchange". A related transaction, which starts with a gift instead of a loan, is alternative giving.

In my Student Leadership class, for our final project, we have to pay it forward. We need to find 3 stragers, and do something nice for them, learn about that person, and record what we do. Ex. take pictures, video tape, makes logs, etc. And on the last day of school, we have to giva a presentation on however it is we kept track of our "pay it forward" project. I really have no clue on what to do, to volunteer I need to be over a certain age, or fill out a stack of paper work, and be accompanied by an adult, who has to fill out another stack of paperwork. I have no money, and my family is going through though times right now, really though, so we have no money to spare. I am 15 years of age, and I go to Hug High School in Reno Nevada. If you have any ideas on what I can do, feel free to e-mail me at thorrydr@yahoo.com I beleive, that to make our Earth truely at peace, we all need to take part in "pay it forward". Thank you.

I am not able to be with my wife and 4 kids right, due to life in our military. But, while my wife took our kids to dinner at a restaurant on base, she was greeted by a surprise. It had been one of those days for her! Sick kids, homework and such...A Marine who was eating with his wife and two kids took the liberty of paying her bill. When the waitress told my wife of his kind actions, she broke down and cried. First off, my wife is very cynical. So, this gesture actually threw her off. She asked him why and he said "I knew you needed this today, and I had a feeling your husband was away." What an eye opener for my wife! She told my kids to say "Thank You", and later explained to my kids that their are still a lot of good people in this world. Here is my story of how someone paid it forward to us. I hope my kids grow up and remember that Marine's gesture.
