Step 1 - Prep Baking Pan

Take your baking pan and line it with aluminum foil.
You'll want to make sure you extend the foil over the edges of the pan.

You'll see in the photo I have the foil over the edges on two sides, I added another piece of tinfoil to cover the rest.

You can set the baking pan aside after this step.

Step 2 - Melt Butter

Add your 1/2 cup of margarine or butter to your plastic bowl and pop it into the microwave for 45 sec. or until melted.

The smell of the melted margarine is fantastic!

Step 3 - Add Ingredients

Add your sugar, graham cracker crumbs and peanut butter to your bowl.

Step 4 - Mix!

Time to put your spoon and traps to work :p

Mix all the ingredients together in the bowl.
Take a break every 30 seconds if you like, the peanut butter can make the mixing tough.

Step 5 - Spread Mix

Scoop out your ingredients from the bowl and line the bottom of your baking pan.

Step 6 - Melt Chocolate

Time to add the chocolate chips to your now empty bowl.
Back into the microwave the bowl goes for 2 min. or until melted.
It's important to stir the chocolate chips every 45-60 sec. to make sure they all get melted.

Note: I found my bowl was incredibly hot after I took it out of the microwave so be careful!

Step 7 - Spread Chocolate

Pour your melted chocolate chips on top of your peanut butter mixture in your baking pan.
Use your spoon to scoop out all the chocolate that sticks to the sides of the bowl.
After I had done this I shook the baking pan side to side to try and make sure the chocolate covered everything evenly.

Licking the spoon covered in chocolate is optional at this point but highly recommended :)

Step 8 - Chill Out

Get your completed mixture into the fridge for at least 1 hour.
Letting the mixture set in your fridge lets us get chocolate peanut butter bars with no baking.

Step 9 - Almost Done

After the mixture is nice and firm take it out of the fridge and onto your cutting board of choice (I like my bamboo board).
The aluminum foil we extended over the edges of the baking pan will make it easy to remove the giant bar.

Here is a photo of my finished product.

Step 10 - Success!

Use your large knife of choice (I use a French knife) and cut the giant bar into mini bars to your desired size.

You're done!
Make sure any uneaten bars are put back into the fridge to keep them fresh and firm.
I use my large Tupperware container for the storing of my bars.

Enjoy!
