PC games of 2010 which you MUST BUY! or at least try or just check out once...

2010 started off great for gamers with many great games, and Mass Effect 2 was one of them. The game's beatiful visuals, storyline, excellent gameplay and compelling characters, brought this RPG game to a legendary status instantly. Well, at least that's what the professional game critics said, which is true except for the parts about the characters and the story. Sure the story was better than most other "serious" games but it was kinda cheesy and the characters even more so. The gameplay just as most of the reviews wrote, was excellent (except for the bugs where you get stuck in some some areas) and the visuals were not things I saw in my everyday sad videogame life. Also the fact that this game continous depending on your Mass Effect 1 progress is truely the something else but what made this game so special for me was the intergalactic sex (don't judge others' sexuallity, cause that's just mean). Sex alone in video games are rare but an intergalactic one is something you find only in Mass Effect. I have nothing more to add here so scroll down to the next game (plz).

This game is cheap in price. It is $20 USD and you can get it from 'Steam'. This turned based strategy game is as fun as ever with many additional crazy items and weapons. Up to 4 people can play together online blowing each other's worms out (I hope the naughty stuff did not cross your mind here). It is a game worth playing.

First of all this is an adventure/ survival horror game and I am not good with scary games as they make my pants wet (or just the boxers if I am not wearing any pants). This game is one of the scariest games I played and to be honest I didn't even finish it. Just like any other adventure game you go around picking up stuff and solve some simple puzzles but the whole atmosphere and you not knowing when the monster will pop out and rip you into pieces really makes your heart race. To make things even better you don't even have any weapons to kill your enemies, all you can do is try to run and hide from them if you are not already suffering from panic attack. Even when you are not confronted with a monster you feel like someone or something is following you, comming closer and closer to you and this really drives you crazy. This game is great for people with weak heart or with small bladder.

A remake of the original 'Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge' with many improvements. This game is a fantastic point-and-click adventure game with many smart puzzles, lovable characters and quirky humor which will steal your heart (this whole sentence sounds so cheesy).

A FPS game where you have to think stuff through. The concept of the universe in the original Bioshock was second to none and it was one of the core aspects of the game. Naturally Bioshock 2 is not as fresh anymore, since we already explored and saw its world through its predecessor. Even with such a huge draw back, Bioshock 2 is still quite impressive as now you are playing as BIG DADDY! who is so much cooler than the other guy from the original Bioshock, plus now there are more sisters, small ones and big ones as well.

OMG! Supreme Commander 2! could this be the best RTS game of 2010? Of course not, StarCraft 2 came out this year as well and technically both of them are 'sc2' but only StarCraft 2 is the official 'sc2' (if you are a Supreme Commander 2 fan please ignore what I just wrote). Even so it is a pretty fun game so check it out.

This game deserves to be the successor of the legedary RTS game, StarCraft. The balance between the 3 races is very good (not excellent but Blizzard is working on it) and the campaign is very fun (unlike its predecessor's not so great campaign) and friendly to both beginners and experienced players but the flower of this game is the multiplayer. Thanks to the league system you get to play people on your level, so even if you are a beginner there are no worries (if you are unlucky you might go against super talented rookies). The storyline of this game is a bit cheesy and kinda predictable but that's not something important as StarCraft was never about the story. Also there is no LAN which kinda sucks but even so, StarCraft 2 is the Best RTS game in years and most probably it will stay that way for years to follow. The first StarCraft 2 league GSL opened at the beginning of September and it is still going on, so we can wait and see if this game will be the next big thing in the e-sports scene.
