I like the shirt with the two fingers up. There's plenty of great uses for peace symbols on clothing or as art.

Great Topic. History suggest "war" has strong element of economics. America's Civil War was an economic war more than anything else. Why ? Could It have been prevented. You Choose ! Let's focus also on making poor able to survive as possible now with knowledge and spirit of friendship among different faith in America and the world. thanks.

A great lens. We live in a world that runs by enforcement, and yet the thing we need the most, peace, cannot be enforced, it can only be taught and lived.

I own a restaurant and we fly a US flag with the stars in the shape of a peace symbol (also sold on this site). I just had a complaint from a man in our community saying he was a former military commander and he was offended by our flag ("It shows disrespect to the Amercian flag" & "You'd be hard pressed to find a military person who disagrees with this."). I told him it is our hope to spread a message of world-wide peace and that we feel one way to do that is to show our patriotism and wish for peace at the same time by flying this flag. Any opinions on this? I cannot believe this is offensive, but am trying to hear different perspectives. Thanks for any feedback! I'd also like to send him a letter with more thought-out response...any ideas?

The prayer flags are thrilling. I have long decorated trees with colorful scarves, in my own ways as spirit stirs me, as prayer for harmonious, dynamic, profound, dancing, re-creative peace. I also make prayer-tree or prayer-branch sculptures of fallen branches & bird-food. There are so many possibilities!

What a wonderful way to encourage teaching peace to children! Before a war starts we need to give peace a chance.

Lensrolled to Pete Seeger who has spent a lifetime teaching and leading us all in the peace movement.
