Peacock Feathers Fashion

I feel like that has been the common phrase among the fashion industry lately. You don't see the peacock feathers just in clothing and accessories, but also in art, floral bouquets, and color coordinating. Every store I walk into has something in peacock feather print in almost every section. It's the weirdest thing. I want to know who started this trend. Some random person or was it an executive who knew just how popular it would get if they introduced it to the world?

My cousin is getting married in July, and her wedding is peacock feather themed. All of her colors come straight from the colors that are in a peacock feather. When I went to shop for dresses to wear to her bridal showers and what not, I was bombarded by how many peacock feather printed dresses there are in all of the stores right now. I'm half tempted to by one, even though I'm not crazy about the pattern lol.

My friend who's a nurse has a pair of nursing scrubs with the peacock feather print all over them. She said just about everyone she works with owns a pair too. I will admit that the colors in the feather are pretty, but the feather itself is kind of weird looking. It reminds me of a fortune teller for some reason lol. Anyway, I will probably end up getting sucked into this trend with no hope of getting out anytime soon. I only hope it doesn't last too long.
