Cashew Butter
Cashew butter is a popular substitute for peanut butter because it has the most similar taste of any natural substitute.
However, some peanut allergy sufferers do react to cashews.
Almond Butter
This is a great peanut butter alternative.
Soy Nut Butter
Tastes just like Peanut Butter
This is another great addition, or alternative, to standard peanut butter. Very tasty. Ideal peanut butter substitute for those with tree nut allergies.
Sunflower Seed Butter
This sunflower seed butter can be a great alternative to peanut butter (or almond butter /cashew butter etc) if you're avoiding giving your toddler nuts due to the possibility of an allergic reaction.
Stainless Steel Mixing Bowls
I prefer stainless steel instead of your standard plastic bowls.
They have more versatility to them!

My Peanut Butter Cookie Memories
I remember when I was a little girl, in 8th grade to be exact.
I was lucky enough to have a school that made Peanut Butter cookies homemade and boy they were so delicious. It was a race to get in the lunch line with my friends before anyone else to buy 1 or 2 cookies because if you didn't they would be all gone. If that happened we were surely disappointed and have to wait till the next day.

- Thank you so much for including my Peanut Butter Cookie recipe in your very thorough and delicious Peanut Butter Cookie post! I'd say my cookies are the exact opposite of yours in texture; they stay moist and chewy days after baking. But in flavor, very similar... all peanutty goodness. Cheers!

- I remember using the fork to make the criss-crosses on the peanut butter cookies when I was a little girl. I guess my mother must have had a good recipe because that's a great memory! Your recipe sounds awesome! I hadn't thought to use an alternative nut butter, but cashew sounds especially good. Thanks for the idea!
