Meet Pebbles!
Please allow me to introduce you to my sweet cat named Pebbles.
Pebbles is the most affectionate cat I have ever seen. She is totally a lap cat. She is always snuggling up to someone. When my husband is at work and the kids are at school, Pebbles doesn't know what to do with herself. So she follows me around everywhere.
Her favorite thing to do is to lay all over my keyboard when I am typing. She does everything she can do to get my attention and keep me from doing my work.
No Pets for us.....no Way...
Until We Met Pebbles
I am allergic to both cats and dogs and I made it perfectly clear to my kids that a cat was out of the question! Period!Until my sister put this sweet little homeless kitten in my hands. She was so sweet. It was love at first site. And once the kids saw her I knew there was no way to say no. So we kept her. And I sneezed for a few weeks. But eventually I think I built up an immunity to her, because she really doesn't affect my allergies.
Princess Pebbles? She thinks so.
We came up with lots of cute names, but I came up with the idea of naming her after her coloring. She has suck pretty colors in her fur. Brown, beige, gray. The colors reminded me of the colors of Pebbles that you would see in the bottom of a stream or brook. And so that's where we got the name Pebbles. But it should have been princess because she is spoiled rotten and thinks that she is a Princess. Do you have a Squid Paws Lens? Post it here.

Cats are different socially than any other animal in that they will only approach someone on their own terms. A dog will jump right up on a stranger, but not a cat. A cat needs to feel you out first and he or she may just decide not to like you. I know it is weird, but that's how cats are.
