Pebbles Infant Flintstone Costume
Do you want to spend $30 on a Halloween Costume?
Look at this Pebbles Costume. I designed this for my daughter. I looked at a few designs online -- looked at her clothes that we were putting on her for what was currently fitting and started to cut, sew, create and design her Pebbles costume in one sitting.
What do you think? Turned out pretty good, RIGHT!?!
You can do it too here's how!
Steps to Make Your Own Infant Pebbles Halloween Costume
Step 1: Find a shirt and shorts that currently fit your little one, or if your little one is about to outgrow the current size - go up to the next size. For my example I went with 6-9 months as my daughter was just getting into that size at the time.
Step 2: Get your fabric. I purchased fleece for the top and silk for the bottoms.
Step 3: Lay out your fabric and cut your pebbles shirt and pebbles shorts.
Step 4: Sew the pebbles shirt - make sure you only sew the top of the shirt together for the shoulders and sew the sides together - keep the bottom, very top where the head would be and each side where the arms would be - UNsewn.
Step 5: Sew the pebbles shorts. This is probably the toughest part of this project - not only are you trying to add in elastic for the waist but you are working with SILK - if you have not sewn with silk before - one word SLIPPERY!
Step 6: Try the shirt and shorts and see if it fits! Add mini toy dog bone with a hair tie and ta-da - you have a Pebbles right before your eyes!
Good luck with the project! If you feel that this project just won't do for you... You can use the following resources to find a Pebbles Costume-in-a-bag! Best of luck!

- Wow, that costume is amazing! One important thing missing from the lens - being that you made a point about saving money, is that you didn't mention how much money you saved by doing it yourself!

- Very true - I couldn't find a pebbles costume I wanted - besides they were only available in PINK and if you know me - I refused to dress my baby girl in Pink - now 4 years later she is a Pink Pretty Princess every day and mommy has just accepted the color more and more. I would think I saved $15-20 bucks, I spent maybe $5 on the fabric.
