Homemade Pecan Pie Recipe
Pecan pie is a great holiday pie. It will always fit nicely on a Thanksgiving or Christmas table. This pecan pie recipe is easy to make and tastes great with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. I have given you the recipe for the pie crust as well as the pecan filling so you have all you need to make a delicious pecan pie for your family.

Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 Karo dark corn syrup
- 3 egs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 11/2 cups pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. On a mixing bowl, whisk the syrup, eggs, melted butter and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
3. Toss in the pecans in the mixture and pour mixture on a 9 inch unbaked/frozen deep dish pie crust. Spread evenly.
4. Bake pie for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
5. Pie is done when it springs back when touched.
6. Let pie cool on a wire rack for 2 hours before serving.
