The manufacturer Peddinghaus has long held a tradition in Germany for an innovative tradition in the lost art of blacksmithing. While a lot of blacksmithing is being done with the latest power and big industrial tools, Peddinhaus continues to supply hand tools for the hobbyist and serious blacksmither.
They've been in business since 1839, and have been in the business of creating fine hand tools since the early 1870's. As with many German manufacturers quality and tradition go hand and hand.
In addition to blacksmithing hammers, Peddinghaus produces a number of other tools. Tongs, chisels, anvils, flatters, fullers and mallets are just a sampling of the tools created today by Peddinghaus.

A Real Modern Day Blacksmith Shop
A interesting mix of new and old blacksmithing tools
Not Specificially Peddinghaus tools, but some really old power tools from the early 1900's. Including a blower from the Champion Blower & Force company and an extremely rare variable speed switch from the Buffalo Motor Regulator comopany.
