Cowboy Curtis is one key characters in Pee-wee's Playhouse. Played by Laurence Fishburne this African-American cowboy captured the hearts of millions.

Pterri is green pterodactyl (and though the 'p' is silent in pterodactyl it is not in Pterri). Pterri is very fearful and unsure of himself, often acting like a 3 year old. He is one of Pee-Wee's best friends.

In a magical box with jewel encrusted doors lived Jambi, a mystical genie, was always there to help out Pee-Wee. "Did somebody say wish?" Through the use of the words "Mekka lekka hi, mekka hiney ho!" wishes came true. "Long live Jambi!"

Miss Yvonne (played by Lynne Marie Stewart) was a WOMAN. She was all about being beautiful, and frequently flirted with the men of the show. A fireman, a cowboy, the mailman, or Pee-Wee himself - Miss Yvonne crushed on everyone. And, she was crowned "the most beautiful woman in Puppetland."

Conky 2000 was a robot made of random pieces of electronics: stereos, cameras, etc. Conky had style, and personality making him one of our favorite of Pee-Wee's friends.
