PEI Hotels And Accomodations
There are many great places to stay on Prince Edward Island depending on the experience you're looking for. One of the most inexpensive ways to stay on the island is to rent a local cottage for a week or two. Most of them are close to the water and are inexpensive.
There are certain weekends you will more than likely not get hotels in Charlottetown and that would be Canada day weekend and Old Home Week (August)
There are 3 main types of accommodations that will be reviewed.

*Campgrounds
Note I will not be recommended individual places to stay as there are way too many to cover fairly. This is more of a generalized guide on what you can look forward to.

The best way to get good deals on these cottages is to know someone on the Island. That is not always the case, so you're next best spot would be to use the offical PEI Tourism accommodation search.
