Pelargonium/Geraniums..What's not to love?
These plants are just gorgeous! But I must admit... I'm trying hard not to kill mine.
You really need to get used to their watering habits. Pelargoniums do not seem to want as much water as your every day traditional plant.
Their roots like to be "dry in between waterings" as they say and they really need at least 6 full hours of sunlight to flower.
To help keep them dry (as they like to be) I decided to punch some holes into the little plastic pots that mine are in to give the roots some more air circulation.

They seem to be pretty happy so far.
One is flowering right now and will try to get a picture up soon... it's oh so pretty with a light pink color, very much like this one in the picture!
If you love geraniums then you may just LOVE the almighty Coleus.. take a look at my Coleus Plants page, they have exquisite leaves and are perfect for containers!
