Pelican Case Foam
Pelican cases come with a pre-cut high density open cell Polyurethane foam (unless you choose a ####NF model which has no foam), also known as pick n pluck. These layers will protect your fragile equipment against impacts, shocks and vibrations.
Pelican Foam Layers
The bottom part of the Pelican case foam consists of 2 or 3 layers, depending on the model of the case. When put inside the case the item should fit very tight in all directions. If you are storing smaller equipment you can save foam pieces that you removed earlier, then cut them to correct size and replace.
Fixing Mistakes
If you against all odds made a mistake and should have any loose areas, it is easy to cut off corresponding piece from the leftover foam and glue it back to the wall with contact adhesive made specifically for polyester foam (if you are unsure of which adhesive to use ask your dealer).
