What a sight to see!
The colors are everywhere as farmers display their produce of fresh vegetables and fruit all around our beautiful Village Green in Pendleton SC. The fabulous aroma is in the air of Fresh Baked Goods and Casseroles. The many jars of Jams, Honey and Jellies reflect the light from the afternoon sun. Crafters show their talent with beautiful products.
Local Pendleton Resident, Nate Lester, says: I love the Farmers Market. You can just feel the freshness.
Thank you to the Town of Pendleton, Greg Ammons and all the Vendors who make the Pendleton Farmers Market possible. We will look forward to the Summer of 2012!

- This looks like a great little place to stop into. I am not sure if I have ever been to Pendleton. My husband and I go on excursions all over South Carolina all the time. We'll have to make sure to put this on our list. Great lens. You have been blessed.

- Ah -- such wonderful memories. I truly miss the Pendleton Farmers Market since I moved away. Looks like Greg (with his assistants, Mo and Dorma) is doing a wonderful job running the 2011 Market. Saw many 'old' friends among the vendors, and enjoyed 'seeing' the Market through the eyes of your camera! Tell everyone I said 'Hi'. :-)

- I love farmers markets! We have two here in Flagstaff on different days of the week. That's because the one was so popular, they decided to have another on the other side of town (which is only a few miles away). And I used to be a seller, myself, back in Connecticut. I'm adding this one to my farmers market lens.

- Anything that might weaken the very unhealthy stranglehold that the massive retail chains have on our food supply gets a second look from me. I'm only sad that I'm the wrong side of the Atlantic to take an in-person look.

- This is a great farmers market! I am so happy to see more and more great ones like this are popping up all over the US! I came across a fabulous website solely focused on farmers markets- they have hundreds of markets, vendors and supporters on it (not spamming just sharing) so definitely get on there too to promote the Pendleton Farmers Market: www.thefarmersmarketclique.com I think it's awesome that local farms, artisans and businesses have a place to share their wonderful products. Can't wait to visit this one soon!

- Ohme, this is such a delightfully well done story about the Pendleton Farmers Market, and so good of you to continue to promote the town of Pendleton, its history & happenings & celebrations. There is no one prouder of her community than Ohme aka Nancy Hellams, and you have been a One-Woman Welcome Wagon to Pendleton for me. All your Pendleton, SC lenses are worthy and deserving of a SquidAngel blessing, but I've chosen this Farmers Market one because it's the one I relate to the most, having been a vendor at the Market for two summers now, so I appreciate your Pendleton promotions more than most.
~~Blessed by your very own 'Pendleton' SquidAngel~~
