Imagine that you are relocating to a completely new area. Now, it's reasonable to assume you don't know a great deal about this new and exciting location. This is where your computer and the Internet come in very handy. Take your new town or city and perform a criminal background search of that area. Find out immediately if there are any known offenders that you should be wary of. Most parents, like myself, are commonly on the look-out for sex offenders. We demand to know if they're residing nearby. To be completely honest, this will affect my decision on whether or not to purchase a particular home. And it did in the past.
