The two of them together will make history with it's zesty taste. Nothing says yummy like Pepsi Barbecue Sauce!

Ingredients for Pepsi Barbecue Sauce

Zesty Tangy Pepsi Barbecue Sauce

1 small finely chopped onion (I only use 1/2)
2 finely chopped garlic cloves
2 tbsp butter
2 cups ketchup
6 oz Pepsi
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Mustard
2 tbsp Vinegar

Saute garlic & onion in butter until soft. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 1 hour or until thick

'Tis the season for BBQ! Below are some yummy summer recipes with a decidedly Pepsi twist that will surely delight the whole family. We've updated these original recipes with Pepsi Natural for a natural take on a favorite.
Pepsi Natural BBQ Recipe

1 bottle of Pepsi Natural
1 can (6 oz) of tomato paste
1 Tbsp of mustard
1 Tbsp of worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp of your favorite BBQ rub
3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1/4 tsp liquid smoke

Optional:
1 tbsp bourbon

In a medium sized sauce pan simmer the 12 oz bottle of Pepsi Natural until its volume is reduced to 4 oz. Stir in the other ingredients and remove from heat.

    I have never tried this recipe...in fact I'd never heard of it. The mix of ingredients in the different recipes for this Pepsi barbecue sounds sure make me put it on my to-do list.

    PS Did you mean to have this in the family category? I think it would fit better in the food category :)
