This is the Cadillac of gifts for a poultry keeper I have chicken friends that have been gifted hatching egg incubators for birthdays, mother's day, anniversaries and Christmas! Timing is perfect, giving an incubator as a Christmas gift is just in time for the chicken hatching season.
I could show you cheap styrofoam incubators and those with inadequate insulation that will let you down, but these are the incubators the true chicken fancier is hankering for. If they are hatching mailed or shipped rare breed eggs, the best incubator is a necessity and a wonderful surprise! Personally, I find incubators to pay for themselves rapidly if you are hatching rare heritage breed chicks.

- Thanks for reading Danny. I am not sure I'll even have a dog or cat again! The D'Uccle bantam I am holding in the pic lays a ton of good sized eggs and hardly eats anything, and Violet is a pet! I really wasn't expecting them to be such great pets when I got them, I can see why chicken keeping is taking off. So you need the right gear to enjoy the whole poultry keeping experience! ;-)
