The final layer is the base and contains the richer scents. It is the main theme of the perfume and it will blend with the middle layer. This smell usually becomes more pronounced after you have worm your fragrance for 30 minutes and the one that will last most of the day.

Once the perfume has reached this layer, only then can you really determine if the scent is something that you would like and would fit your personality.

When testing perfumes and fragrances don't try out more than 2 fragrances in a day. Otherwise it will confuse your nose and a scent that may have been perfect for you smells horrible due to the mixing of scents and also the opposite can happen. You may think that you like a fragrance only to realize that it only smells good when mixed with another scent.

Your fragrance should change along with your mood. Don't get stuck on one scent and consider this your signature fragrance, change often. Also remember to choose lighter fragrances in the summer and deeper, heavier fragrances in the dry winter air.
