Visualization as a Key to Happiness
Visualization however cannot only bring success to your business but happiness to your life, as well.
Learn How to Visualize Your Happiness
Using visualization to help you gain happiness is a gradual process, so don't expect to learn it overnight. Be patient and don't skip to the next step if you haven't mastered the previous one.
What is Happiness to You?
Ask yourself this question first and be honest with your answer. What is happiness to you?
Material and external happiness is easy to achieve once you've developed a plan, but you might realize later on these things don't make you truly happy.
Happiness comes from within. Genuine happiness is born from intrinsic goals, and it's important that you determine those first before trying to visualize your future happiness.
Developing the skill of self motivation by using positive thoughts and visualization can give you the clarity and focus to stay committed to achieving your goals in life.
Remember, you are what you think. You attract what you think you deserve in life. If you only expect the best you are more likely to get just that, the best in life.
Build your Self Esteem
To achieve your goals in life, you need to believe in yourself and your right to enjoy these achievements!
Learn The Secrets How To Build Self Esteem In Just One Weekend.
What is the Perfect Symbol or Image for Your Happiness?
You can achieve your goals by taking one step at a time.
N ow that you know what your goals are, it's time to choose the best image or symbol to reflect these goals. What - What are those goals? What type of event, situation, or scene would best reflect those goals?
Who - Determine the persons integral to the completion of your goals; if these people aren't present, your goals wouldn't mean as much to you.
Where - It doesn't have to be any place exotic or extravagant, but something that will mean a lot to you and tell you in an instant that your dreams have come true.
When - Your goals must be time-bound. Ask yourself for the ideal time to complete your goals.
Once you've determined all those key elements, the next thing to do is to put all those elements together into one image or symbol.
Make this as detailed as possible until it resembles a vivid Technicolor scene. Commit the scene to memory. Memorize each and every pixel until you can call the image to mind with effortless ease.
Determining the How
Visualizing your happiness is like going on a race. The previous step required you to imagine what it would look like to get to the succeed.
This time, you need to determine what you'll do DURING the race in order to get to the finish line. Don't let present limitations confine your imagination. Determine what you have to do to accomplish your goals and commit them to memory as well.
It's Time for Self-Affirmations
You now have all the required elements for this visualization exercise to work. The last thing to do is making yourself believe that it can and will happen for you.
Every time you wake up and before you go to sleep, visualize the perfect scene reflecting your goals.
Then tell yourself with utmost confidence that you have all what it takes to do it. You can face yourself in the mirror if it helps.
When you do this regularly, your brain will get used to what it's hearing from you until it's convinced that you're virtually destined to make your dreams come true.
Mastering your visualization skills will take time, so be patient if you find it difficult picturing your future happiness.
Keep practicing, however, as the rewards you'll gain will certainly be beyond your wildest imaginations. Dream big and dream happily!

Handling Change Gracefully
Change can either be good or bad; but in whatever form it takes, there's only one reason why change occurs - it is to set aside the past and look ahead to the future.Although leaving your 'comfort zone' is a tough thing to do, there is always a way for you to move forward and meet these changes successfully.
Acceptance.
You have to realize that change is inevitable and no matter how hard you try to run away from it, things eventually happen if they are destined to happen.
It is true that the only thing that is constant is change, so always be flexible. Admitting that change is already happening or just actually happened is hard but denying it will not make things easier.
Look on the Brighter Side.
View change as an avenue for growth. You may not like the transformation at first but most likely, you will get used to it soon.
Be optimistic and keep your head up high. Who knows what is in store for you? Keep in mind that there is always a reason for everything and look at the changes around you in a different perspective.
Let go.
Letting go is one of the hardest things to do. Letting go of things that were part of your routine doesn't happen overnight.
Stop dwelling on the past, move on, make your first step forward and accept the change with open arms.
Letting go is easier said than done but it does not mean that you cannot do it. You have to realize that you need to let go to give way for new things in your life.
Letting go is a process everyone needs to undergo in life. Every now and then, you have to sacrifice something or someone in order to start anew, oftentimes, for the better.
Focus.
Focus on what is left and not on what is lost. Rest for a while, concentrate on the next step and give all your attention into it.
Do not look back, just go forward and confront the changes that are already in front of you.
Do not Stagnate Yourself.
Change does not mean that it is already the end of the world and you have to paralyze yourself. Do not let fear of change stop your world from evolving.
Do not resist rather just go with the flow and see where change will take you. Remember that you control your life so do not let change control you.

How to Stop Being A Prisoner Of Bad Habits
Change Begins With Choice
Bad habits are hard to break. These habits can become almost automatic actions, especially those that are long sustained.Individuals controlled by their bad habits feel somewhat imprisoned by their behavior.
However innocuous the habit may seem at first, once it reaches the point where the person is unable to control this behavior, it becomes harmful.
If this pattern of behavior goes on unchecked, it is going to be extremely difficult for a person to put a stop to this. This is why probably the best way to get rid of bad habits is not to develop them in the first place!
But this is virtually impossible, given that every person has the tendency to develop a habit.
If you are one of those people who are addicted to bad habits, here are some methods that can help you get out of your habitual prison cell.
1. Be dedicated to your cause. It is important that when you finally decide that they want to kick out your bad habits, you have to stick by this decision - whether the bad habit you want to break is nail biting, smoking, overeating, etc.
You can start by mentally preparing yourself for this move. You should not treat this lightly, but rather you should treat it like an important event that will change your life for the better!
This is why serious effort must be put into the process of trying to quit a bad habit.
2. Tell your friends and family about your decision to quit a bad habit. Friends and family will be able to help you get rid of your habits by encouraging and offering you moral support.
3. Make a list of the consequences of your bad habits. Putting it in writing makes it official! This has long helped those who are in denial about the harmful effects of their habits realize that their bad habits does in fact have consequences!
Anytime you feel the urge to go back to your bad habits, you should read this list out loud!
4. Don't quit! If you find yourself reverting back to your old ways, just make a conscious effort to stop. Getting rid of bad habits does not happen over night.
It is a gradual process. Many individuals will not be rid of their habits at their first attempt. But the important thing is that you keep at it, until you finally kick out the habit for good!
5. Replace bad habits with good ones! Find an activity that will replace the old bad habits that you've formed.
For example, instead of eating because of boredom, try to do something more constructive. Pick up a hobby that will divert your attention from eating.
Always keep in mind that when the going gets tough, you have to persevere and not give in to the temptation to go back to your old ways!
You should always keep in mind that all the hard work and dedication that you are putting into quitting your bad habits will pay off - that what lies in store for you in the future is a healthier, and happier lifestyle!

Quote: "My first major discovery was that scientists have found that we each have a `happiness set-point,' the genetic and learned tendency to remain at a certain level of happiness, similar to a thermostat setting on a furnace.
Fortunately for those of us not born on the sunny side of the street, it's been shown that we can change our happiness set-points.
I'll discuss this more in the next chapter and offer you specific exercises throughout the book to raise your happiness set-point."
Ways by Which Bad Habits Can Be Eliminated
You may think that you're too weak to resist your urges. This is not true. Have faith in yourself.Believe that you can fight them. All you have to do is follow these simple steps:
Slow down, set back and delay. When it attacks your brain, and it keeps on harassing you, slow down for a moment, think of other things.
Distract yourself so that it would not saturate your mind.
Divert your attention. Flee away from such situations. If your addiction is on cigarettes, don't go to places where you will be invited and tempted to smoke.
Mingle with people who don't smoke. If it cannot be avoided, you may seek for alternatives. A cup of coffee will do.
Another good way is for you to make a list of substitutes. Every time you feel tempted, just glance at your list to know what would be the best replacement.
If coffee is for cigarette, juice is a good substitute for beer. Working out in a gym would best replace your urge for sex.
Meditation and visualization for relaxation is also a useful tool to help you develop better self control and motivation to eliminate your bad habits.
Self-motivation is the best way by which you can fight your struggles. Condition your mind and believe that you can make your way out of addiction.
If for instance your case is severe, seek an expert. Consult a doctor and let him treat you.
Some Self Esteem Building Exercises
There are simply times when we feel so bad about ourselves. It can be caused by a lot of things.Heartbreak is one of the most common reasons for low self esteem and is often the case for people who lost their self to their relationship.
For the people who are in love with their career, a demotion can kill their self esteem. Workaholics who get fired are the number one candidates of low self esteem.
Teenagers who devote their time and energy to finally getting that slot in the varsity will have a lot to work on their self esteem should they be cut from the team. Self esteem is anchored in a lot of things like the factors mentioned above but solely depending on one single factor is not good.
A high self esteem should be gained by being able positive toward all aspects of life and not just one.
In case you are one of those people who are suffering from low self esteem or happen to know someone who is suffering from low self esteem then read on and maybe these exercises can help you in finding your way back to gaining that high self esteem. Let us start off with your self.
The mirror can do so many things. How many times have we seen depressed people throw mirrors or throw something at mirrors to break them because they do not like what they see? Many, many times I would bet.
So let us begin with making sure that we like what we see in the mirrors. In this phase, physically looking good is very important so take the time to fix yourself.
Take a trip to the parlor or to the gym. It is a must that you like and love what you see in the mirror because such fondness is a good way to start making yourself better.
And when that is settled, look at the mirror every morning and say "I love myself" not because your narcissistic but because you love the unique you who have so much to offer to the world.
Have one day of fun with friends every week. Sometimes surrounding yourself with people is not enough. You have to have a day spent with really close friends wherein you do nothing but celebrate the "highs" of the week.
Think up of something like the "snap cup" in the movie Legally Blonde and have a session every week. Why every week? It is nice to always have something to look forward to every week.
This exercise, aside from helping you keep your self esteem, will enable you to share a unique bond with your friends and together you will all grow up beautifully.
Be careful not to over-praise each other so make sure that you only give sincere and timely praises to each other.
Those are just two exercises you can practice to build your self esteem or to finally build a high self esteem.
There are other ways but one individual practice and another group exercise should encourage you to get at least get started and then just keep on doing it until it becomes habit.
You never know, when you are so good at it then you can begin to walk the talk and inspire others to do the same.

It's never too late to BE the person you dreamed of!

Repeat them constantly and your mind will act on them. Work at feeling good about yourself and become more self-reliant.
YOU are a capable person! Don't allow those inner voices to convince you otherwise. - Take Charge Of Your Life: how and why to make yourself a priority
- What advice would you give yourself 20,30,40, years from now?
Every time I have asked that question people seem to offer similar answers.
"Do what is important to me."
"Spend time with people I care about,"
