Face To Face With The Paranormal
After so many years from my last paranormal experience, I can still remember the details of the experiences and I have to be honest, it still frightens me. When I was younger I had unique paranormal experiences that, up until this day I still can't explain them. I can hear voices, laughter, footsteps and even music where there shouldn't be. Moving objects and furniture, real scary!. Playing with the Ouija Board did not necessarily helped the situation. I have lived in haunted houses and I have experienced really weird and scary stuff.
Here I will tell you my personal stories and experiences with the paranormal and please feel free to add your stories. I'm always interested in what others think about this subject.

Paranormal Experienced: It All Started With the Ouija Board
Paranormal Experience With The Ouija Board

I remember like it was yesterday, I was 12 years old and I just told my father that I wanted a Ouija Board for Christmas. I know, I was way too young to be playing, or should I be saying, channeling with the Ouija Board. Back then, we all thought that this board was just like any another family board game, a game much like the magic ball, you know, just for entertainment. If any member of my family knew the repercussions that would bring because of playing with the Ouija Board, I think they would have never bought the board in the first place. This was just another game on my Christmas wish list, never took it seriously.
Like I said, I was 12, very young and ignorant to the dangers of playing the Ouija Board. And without knowing how to play it or how to protect myself before and after every section, I was really playing with fire and open a door that I'm not sure I closed yet.
I remember playing this board almost everyday, without any evidence of something out of the ordinary. I pretended that I was talking to someone, but of course, I knew it was just make believe, I never thought of it as something serious. I played the Ouija Board couple of months later and then I put it away for good.
It wasn't until I got to high school, that I played the Ouija Board once again, and this time, it was the last time I ever did!
It was Halloween night 1993, my friend and I were at her house for a girls night get together. We were talking about playing the Ouija Board and I told her that the Ouija Board was very lame. I told her, not to bother with it! But she wanted to play and ask me to join her. BAD CHOICE!
After maybe 20 minutes into the seance, my friend started to feel weird, her hand was shaking. All of the sudden she started screaming and panicking. Looking at me with panic eyes, she said that she could see a figure forming around me.
At this exact moment the four candles we had in the room around the table, went off. All of them at the same time. There was no drafts, because we made sure everything was closed and the candles were brand new. That was enough! I was so scared, it literally send me home running. I couldn't sleep that night and many nights after that. But the scary part is that whatever she saw forming around me that night, must have followed me because my life was not the same after that night, neither was my childhood home.

Once when I was 12, I was going to a sleepover and mentioned to my mom that we would be playing the Ouija Board. My mom wouldn't allow me to go and sat me down and explained to me that some doors, once opened, were not so easy to close. I have never used one so I can't speak to paranormal events emanating from them.

Hey, two years back my brother disappeared from my house. We were playing the ouija board. The next day after contacting the police i woke up and there he was. But he had a weird sparkle in his eye. He had been in contact with a demon. He told me the demon was not harmful at all. He told me that the demon was old and gave up on his work for the devil. The demon mention his name that day through my brothers voice...It sounded like this"Syceeya" Then my brother told me he came in counter with one more object. THE DEVIL came out of his mouth and he quickly fainted into a deep sleep he was only 2 and barely knew how to speak? Yet ever say what he just said. i am 14 and for some weird reason just like in movies my brother had red eyes and some black upside down cross on his chest he is writing this with me. Thank you

In my experience, playing the Ouija board didn't affect anything for me in the paranormal sense. I think I played it a few times when I was 11 or 12. I've been experiencing paranormal happenings since I was a little girl, before and after I tried the Ouija board. When I was really young, I would always wake up in the middle of the night and sense something was watching me. That turned into me actually seeing a tall, shadow-like figure standing over me while I could not move nor speak (and believe me, I tried). And eventually, it got to be so I couldn't sleep until it was daylight outside, and would sleep until early afternoon (by that time, I was working 430pm-12am shifts, so it worked out ok in that sense). I've been lying in bed late at night, the only one in the house and would suddenly feel like someone else was there. I remember one instance, I looked over at the bottom of my bedroom door (you know how you can see the little slit of light when the hall light is on?) and saw the shadow of someone pause in front of my door, then walk away into another room ( I was living at my friend's parents house at the time). I opened my door, thinking my friend was home from work, and no one was there. I checked my friend's bedroom, the bathroom, even went upstairs to check out the livingroom, etc and nothing. Things like this have happened quite a bit over the years, although less lately so I've been able to sleep more regular hours. The most recent thing happened a couple weeks ago, where I was woken up in the middle of the night by a strong feeling that something was beside me, and I was paralyzed, I couldn't even move. Then I was dragged off the bed onto the floor. Not roughly, and I couldn't feel any hands anywhere on my body, but I tell you, it effin chilled me to the bone.

My Real Experience With The Paranormal
After several months and all that scary stuff behind us, me and my friend started experimenting with the Tarot Cards. It was my high school years so I guess I was a little rebel and I was very much interested in the occult and paranormal.One day my friend told me to keep the tarot cards for awhile until I could learn how to read them and interpret them. I remember having the cards always in my room for a long period of time.
One day after school, I got home, like always and went straight to my room, locked the door behind me and I started listening to music and talk over the phone with a friend ( I was 17 years old ). After talking with my friend for more than an hour, I heard banging on my door. First, I ignore it thinking it was my brother or sister. But then, the knocks got a little harder and stronger, like someone was trying to break the door down.
I told my friend to hold on, it was just my sister, I said! YEAH RIGHT...
After I opened the door I found no one there. I was so angry at who ever it was because they kept banging and I couldn't talk with my friend over the phone.
Finally, my friend suggested to leave the door open and see if they come back to bother. That's exactly what I did. I left the bedroom door open waiting for my brother or sister to come by and start bothering me. But no one came. I thought that opening the door was such a great idea! NOT!
Five minutes passed when all of the sudden I hear my mother's car pulling up into the garage. I was puzzled, where was she? and better yet, was she alone?... My sister and my brother were with my mother the whole time at the mall which could only meant that I was alone at the house the whole time.
The first thing that came out of my mouth was, "Mom, call the police" I really thought someone was inside the house. It had to be, I mean, someone was banging on my door, many times, and my friend heard everything over the phone. She heard the bangs, that was not me imagining things. I knew something was wrong. We looked everywhere around the house, and of course, no one was there. I know for sure that it was a ghost or a spirit or something. All I know is that it did happen and it scared me to death.
The next day, I gave back the Tarot Cards to my friend. I don't know if the Tarot Cards had anything to do with it, but I was too afraid to even think about the possibilities. My house was never the same, the feeling was dark and not good!

Scared Of The Dark!
Yes! I was really scared to sleep in my room. I would hear voices, laughter, I felt a presence in the room and it didn't feel good at all. My sister and brother refused to sleep in my room and many of my friends told me that they felt very weird while sleeping over at my house. I knew something was going on, something that I sure did not wanted.Over the corner of my eye I could see a black figure leaning on the back of the bedroom door. I remember falling asleep with the lights on and the covers pulled over my head.
In that house I could hear voices calling me when no one was there, I've been touch by unseen hands and I have felt the bed mattress pressing down like when someone is sitting on it. TERRIFYING!
One year after my parents sold the house to one of their good friends from church, they received a very disturbing phone call. It was the new owners of the house, they were just wondering if we knew something about the house and if something had happened there. My mother, not believing that it was haunted, told them that nothing was wrong with the house. The new owners told my parents that there was something evil in the house and that more than 3 priests have been to the property to bless it and still their daughter couldn't sleep in her room. When my mother asked her which room the girl was sleeping, the lady answer: " the room on the left" (my old room)!!
We haven't heard from them again... we wonder if they ever got rid of the evil from that house?!

I believe that after my involvement with the occult and using the Ouija Board without any knowledge, had made me to a certain point, sensitive to my environment and it's easier for me to see or hear things now. I can sense when someone is coming, sometimes I know what they are feeling. It's like I can feel their emotions, their energy.When I walk into a room I could feel the energy around the room; you can say I'm more aware now.
This is why I have a very strong inclination towards the paranormal, because I've had experience it personally and I believe that there is much more than what we can see, hear and feel with our human senses.

Yes i did i was about 12 i was playing on the family computer in my half basement it was late and i had all the lights off so i could see the computer screen better and in my laundry room which is right next to the computer desk and i hear a dark raspy growl coming from the laundry room it was pitch black in there too, i didnt move one bit for like 10 minutes then i jumped up and ran up the stairs. my mom had some expirences down there she was doing laundry and coming from the crawl space she heard a scratching and lite tapping. my dog would repeatily stand at the top of the stairs to the basement and bark cry and growl. she would also go into the basement at night and come racing back up the stairs. weird huh?

So my alarm was going off so I lied there a few sec. Then I raised my left hand to shut my alarm off welll. Before I even got to my alarm button I heard the button "click" I was like, okay then, well.I laid on my bed for.a few sec. Then desided to get up well I I pushed myself up off my bed and something pushed me back down and held me.down for a couple mins. I could not get up.. it was the scariest thing that's happened to me!

My grandmother lived in a very old, creepy house for ass long as I can remember and when I would come and visit I would stay in her basement. Nothing ever really happened until I was 15. I was asleep in the basement bedroom when all of a sudden a loud moaning woke me up. I thought at first it was my grandpa coming down into his office for something so I got up to see if he needed help. The walk from the bedroom to the office is very scary. There are lot of hallways that break off from the main walk way and as I walked down the hallway I realized the moaning wasn't coming from the office. It was coming from the room down the longest hallway that broke away from the main one. I never went in the room because it was filled with old antique item that sorta scared me. I gathered my courage an RAN down the hall and opened the door. I called for my grandpa, still thinking it was him but he didn't answer. All of a sudden I spotted dark tall (taller than anyone that lived there) standing off to my right, almost in the corner. It started moving and I FREAKED OUT. I started screaming and ran up the step to my grandparent's room. I toldd them what I saw and they went to the basement to inspect it but when they opened the door there was nothing there. The whole room, however, looked as if it had been turn upside down. There was things on the floor or tipped over, it scared me so bad because everything was fine when i ran upstairs. My grandparents yelled at me for playing a "prank" on them and for messing up the room. To this day I will NOT sleep down in the basement, nor will I ever go back in that room. I know what I saw and whether anyone believes me or not is up to them.

There was a murder in the city i live. about 7 years ago, a couple decapitated their three children, and disposed of them in a dumpster. it happened in an apartment building right across form my grandmothers house.it was then boarded up, and i had been so curious for years, wanting to see what was inside. i broke into it with a couple of my friends. i was walking around, picking up things, and looking at photos. then we started to hear something. at first i thought my friends were messing with me, but their mouths were shut and there was no one around. as we listened closer, i realized what it was saying. it was a group of voices that sounded close enough for me to here, yet far away to not be next to me.it was calling me. "caaaat, caaaaaaaaaaat, caaaaat, caaaat" my friends got freked out and wanted to leave, and i never got to find out what exactly it was. but it just didnt sound normal.

Since I was little, I have been going through things that I think are sleep paralysis. It is when I know I am awake and I cannot move or say anything. My muscles are involuntary. This happens when lying on my back mostly and it occurs every now and then. During these, it lasted only a little while but nothing ever happened to where have seen anything or felt anything paranormal. If my age matters I am 17. About 2 months ago, I was in bed by myself and I woke up to something that was not a human pulling and pushing me down, back and forth. Whatever it was was on top of me putting pressure on my stomach. My dad and brother were asleep down stairs and neither of them ever come in my room. When I fell asleep, my tv and my lights were on. After this experience, they were off and my room was dark. I looked up and no one was there and this thing was gone. I was too scared to look because I do not believe in ghosts so I thought it was a person in my house so I just shut my eyes and waited till this was over. I was frightened even more when I realized no one was even there that was a human. I am the only person I know of that this stuff happens to. Last night I had two dreams, one that I fell off a playground into a black hole with someone else and died and than I woke up. The other I was about to be involved in something that me and another random girl were going to die, but we both left and drove away from being killed and than I woke up. I woke up for a few and than went back to sleep. No one was home besides me when I woke up again. I was lying on my couch and sleep paralysis happened again. Only this time, my arms were getting pulled into a big white mist. I did not want to look, I never look that much because I am always too scared to see exactly what is going on. I almost got pulled into the whole thing but before it got my whole body I shook out of my paralyzed state to not get pulled into whatever it was. I do not know what is going on with me and I am getting scared because I do not believe I am crazy and I do not believe in anything paranormal. I never did. I live a normal teenage life and I do not know who to tell or who to turn to about all this. Please do tell me what is going on and if you cannot can you refer me to someone who would know what is going on? And if this helps..I am a twin and sleep paralysis happens to her every now and than, the difference is nothing weird happens she just is paralyzed for a little bit. We both cannot speak or move during this. Most of the time, I can sense things about other people. I can see right through them and what they are about. Also, I know when something is wrong with someone I know whether they are hurt upset or in trouble with the law or just anything..without hearing or seeing them or from anyone else. I know when I am in trouble or about to be in trouble and also I know if something bad or good will happen. I can sense who is calling my phone even when I do not look at the caller ID. It is a bunch of things I can sense..more likely to be right with my twin sister though. But I am mostly right about everything I sense. Please help I do not know what is going on!!

my name is donna and i moved in with my fiance back in february and since i have been living with him i have heard music footsteps door knobs turn and at exactly 3 am i was sleeping in the other bedroom when one of my nascar t shirts was thrown on me..i ran out of the room and tried to climb in my fiance mattress..ever since this experience i have been crying and i cant get the feeling out of my head..i was awake when the shirt fell infront of me..what i would like to know is this demonic or a normal spirit? from what i have read its more likely demonic..the things only happen when i am home alone or when my fiance is sleeping..can someone please help me..this is the first time i am experiencing this..and i am totally scared..

I'm not saying what I am about to say is the paranormal but I would like someone to say if they have experienced the same thing. I was staying at a friends house which is a pretty big house in Brighton, England. From what his mum has told me it's over 160 years old. One morning after staying the evening at my friends, I quickly popped to the toilet the time being around 6.00 am. I heard and felt nothing on the way to the toilet until I closed the door behind me. I felt straight away like I was not alone, I then approached the toilet to go and before I got there I heard a very, very strange noise. I cannot really explain it but it sounded like some sort of squeaking, I then quickly turned behind me for the noise to stop, but then all of a sudden it happened really loudly and I covered my ears in pain and run out of the toilet. I tuned my front towards the toilet as I left the door open to see nothing. Was this something try to tell me to get out, was thing something trying to contact me or was it nothing to do with the paranormal at all? Please somebody leave a comment if they have some clue??!!

- I absolutely believe in this stuff. I don't think it's necessarily SCARY, though. I've had experiences with being touched, heard noises, had stuff move, etc. I just chalk it up to someone who doesn't have a body any more just sayin' hello. I DO understand that scary stuff happens, though. Great lens!
