Why Should I Use A Personal Trainer In Hull?
I'm Carol Bartram and I'm a Personal Trainer living in Hull, East Yorkshire in the UK. I trained as a Personal Trainer late in life at 43! It took me nine years to lose the weight I put on after my daughters birth but I knew their had to be a better way. Their was and now I spend my time helping other people achieve their health and fitness goals. It does not take them nine years!

I don't like the gym can I work out at home?

Many people don't like working out at the gym sometimes its because they feel self concious or for many finding the time can be a problem. So can you get an effective workout at home?Yes you can it just takes a little more planning than working out at the gym. As with all things you get out what you put in if your not prepared to put in any effort then it doesn't matter where you work out your not going to get the results you deserve.
I would advise before taking up any exercise program that you get advice from a qualified Personal Trainer first to ensure what your doing is safe and effective.
The equipment you need to work out at home is easily obtained and will set you back about £50-00.
The most important factor in deciding whether you will be successful is your own self discipline a Personal Trainer can show you the way but they can't do the exercises for you!

The media has made us believe that losing weight (fat) can be achieved by going on the latest diet or buying that new exercise gadget. We have been programmed to believe that changing our shape can be fast and easy. If we have taken 10 years to put on 40 pounds is it realistic to be able to lose it in 4 weeks? Of course it isn't.
We need to change our thinking. Instead of setting short term unrealistic goals that are doomed to fail we need to set up sensible goals that are long term and achievable.
Any changes we make to our diet and exercise regime want to be sustainable for the long haul or in other words for EVER! We need to make many small changes none of which will be difficult to sustain that add up over time to give you the results you deserve.
Forget quick fixes they have been shown over time to just not work. Set your sights on how you want to look and feel in a years time and then slowly and consistently move towards that goal.
The hardest job I have as a Personal Trainer is convincing my clients to do just that. Those that embrace the long term approach have all with few exceptions made fantastic progress. Are you going to be one of them?
