Personalized Corporate Gifts

Now Trending: Personalized Corporate Gifts

The Corporate Gift concept has come a long way from the time when this term meant umbrellas, wall clocks, calendars, baseball caps, or t-shirts being given out. These items are still in demand but a slight shift in corporate gift baskets has taken place.
Today clients expect to see more personalization in the corporate gift baskets. It was already being done by some of the multinational companies who value their top VIP clients, but the trend has now trickled down to small and medium sized businesses.
In 2006, American Express published a report that many of the corporate gift baskets had something to do with food. Flowers and courtesy gift cards became less common as the stakes in business began to get more intense. With globalization, businesses now had to face competition from online competitors who were never before considered possible business adversaries. Food was a popular choice because of its universal appeal - everyone has to eat. At the same time, these corporate gifts evoked a lasting impression of the company as compared to gift cards or flowers.
A year latter, top businesses reacted positively to the Big Reveal of American Express and began personalizing their corporate gift selection. Corporate gift baskets became more elaborate and stylish.
According to the CEO of 1-800-Bakery.com, Stephen Pazyra, "There's something personal about food that flowers and gift cards can't deliver." Even corporate gift baskets with a selection of bread and jam, which was unheard of before, suddenly become fashionable. Companies began to look at these kinds of corporate gift baskets seriously and even more so if one added gourmet paté and an expensive bottle of wine.
Websites offering personalization of corporate gift baskets have begun to appear all over the Internet, a fitting testimony to the new trend that is likely to stick around for many years. There are just so many benefits a company can get from a personalized corporate gift, not to mention the wide variety of choices available.
Pazyra further stresses that, "I think a big part of the appeal is the thoughtfulness that these corporate gifts convey." He says the responses from his clients have always been enthusiastic and excited because their clients have become more loyal and appreciative. The bond between client and company strengthens which is something that would never happen with flowers. Proof of this is that flowers have always been given out by companies with very little return feedback or response. It could be that it's become boring and expected, unlike corporate gift baskets, which are always a treat to receive. You just never know what you will find when you open up corporate gifts baskets.
If you aim for the "Wow" effect when sending gifts to your corporate clients a corporate gift baskets will achieve the desired effect.
A corporate gift has the power to show warmth, appreciation, and evoke happiness while advertising the company at the same time. What other corporate gift can do this within one minute of being put in the hands of the client?
