Pet Rabbit Insurance

You'll have to apply for the insurance, but often the animal insurance companies that deal with pet rabbits will often accept you even though under certain circumstances that may apply to you and your pet, you may not be eligible for coverage.

Keep these three in mind when shopping for a good insurance plan for your little pet:

1) If your rabbit has recurring health problems, those will most likely NOT be covered by pet insurance after it happens the first time.

2) If your rabbit is older, the company may not cover him when he is hospitalized at the vet.

3) If your rabbit hasn't had his regular vaccinations, the petcare insurance company might back out at the last minute and not cover your rabbit's vet work.

Keep these in mind when shopping around for your pet's coverage and you should get a better idea of what you're getting into, before you lay down any money for a service that might not come through for you when you and your rabbit need it the most!
