Growing up, Pete traveled a lot as his father was in the British Army. He thrived in school and was accepted at Oxford. However, school was not for Doherty and he dropped in his first year to persue a career in music.
Pete Doherty has been in the news for several arrests including assault, drug abuse, and drug possession. He is also well known for his on and off romance with super model Kate Moss.

Just recently at a club in London, and underage fan was caught and waw getting kicked out of the show. Pete saw this, pulled the fan and his mother to his dressing rome and gave them a private one hour concert.
