This one is definitely a Collection Item.

I have in my wardrobe what I consider to be "Collection Items." Of course, I won't keep these "Collection Item" petite clothing forever. But, they are dresses and petite clothing that I know are special in design and the style will be unique for a couple of years.

Designs that will be put in my Collection Items are hard to find. Sometimes, they look terrific in the catalogues, but after I order them and tried them on, they don't work and I have to return them. So, when they finally made it into my collection, I treat them like treasures.

I rarely buy a petite dress or any petite piece of clothing because they are on sale. That doesn't mean I don't buy petite clothing that are on sale. But, I train my eyes to look for stylish, elegant petite clothing, I pick them, form mental pictures, then I keep my eyes on them until they are on sale. So, I get lots of great deals that way. And, I have lots of very nice petite clothing.

Sometimes, people think that I spend a lot of money on one piece of clothing. THEY ARE WRONG!!! Frankly, for the style of petite clothing I own, I spend little money. And, I want to help other petite women do the same!!! Seeing women dressed beautifully and feeling confidently gives me joy!!!

I think we, women, bring so much to the world and we make this world a much better place just being US, WOMEN!!!

My sister is one of those "lucky" women. Her husband loves her and adores her. I definitely would say that she is "blessed" in the area of marriage. She and my brother in law are just a great match, so to create and maintain that relationship is somewhat easier than many marriages.

But, I have to say that my sister is also a woman of wisdom. For Valentine's Day, I asked her to share some of her tips with us.

Instead of resolving to eat better or get organized in the New Year, why not commit to make your love life better and look better from the inside out?

Here are 7 secrets she would like to share with us:

1. She is always watching her husband to see what he likes to eat and what he doesn't. Then, she cooks his favorite meals that she also enjoys as often as possible. He just can't wait to get home everyday.

2. He likes her scratch his back. Whenever she is talking about her day, she doesn't waste the energy of her hands. She is scratching his back and also getting her share of getting nourishment by talking with him.

3. They tell each other jokes and they make each other laugh everyday. She always tells me, you can't be too serious all the time. Work is serious enough. When you finally have time together, enjoy just being with each other and laugh together.

4. She does things that she enjoys and keeps herself happy most of the time. So, he comes home to a happy person and he thinks that he is the best husband in the world because she is happy. Men like to make their women happy.

5. She doesn't always have to be right. When he is mad, she doesn't add gasoline to the fire. If she disagrees, she talks to him later.

6. She treats him as her best playmate in life. They play together through life.

7. She thanks him as often as she remembers.

By the way, my sister is beautiful in and out. She is also a professional cosmetician.

So, do you know what you will be wearing for Valentine's Day?

For you who will be going out with your man, surprise him with a nice feminime outfit. Bless him with the very feminime side of you. Sow seeds of love and you will be returned with love. (If you feel that your relationship has not been in balanced, you need to learn to communicate that to him. Men, sometimes, just don't know when they are taking and taking and not returning love to their women. In the men's world, when a relationship between men is not in balance, the one who doesn't feel that he gets enough will voice something out or pull back until the relatioship is in balance. In the women's world, we give more. We, sometimes, think that we are not getting enough because our men don't know that we love them. So, we pour and pour and expect that they will someday "get it." And, when they just don't "get it," we resent them.

John Gray is one of my favorite authors and he teaches on communication between the sexes.

If you feel like you have been giving, giving and giving and you are left with one drop left and your man still doesn't get it.... My dear, it is time to change the process to get a different result. Communicate with your man in a way he can understand. Stop your giving temporarily and communicate. I am not asking you to stop giving him and loving him. I saying that tough love is sometimes needed in a relationship, just as children need disciplines sometimes.

Okay, I know you didn't come to this site to get girlfriend's advice. But, you will get some from time to time. I am one of those girlfriends that will just tell you the truth. I am surrounded by a few of those myself and I thank God often for them.

Where would I be without them???

1. Wear 3/4 sleeves - They add to the illusion of making you taller and slimmer.

2. Avoid big patterns and complicated patterns of prints. Keep things simple.

3. Avoid too much jewelry, especially dramatic pieces of jewelry.

4. Good materials for clothing is especially important for petites. Clothing packages you, use good ones.

5. Petite clothing materials must be not too heavy or complicated patterned.

6. Sewing lines should be simple and streamlined. Most importantly, they must be nicely done.

7. When wearing separates avoid strong contrasting colors.

Petite clothes have slightly slimmer lapels; shorter sleeves, a shorter body and the armholes are just a little higher.

Women with petite frames can wear almost any style of petite clothing and look slimmer by using a few simple strategies. If you are petite and overweight, avoid bold, large patterns and heavy fabrics such as, velvet, corduroy and fur. Also, avoid styles that draw the eye to the waist or hip area. Jewerly can be bright and interesting, but avoid big in size and long in length.
